This Moment
Wondering
Searching
Through mist
Amidst shadows
Dancing
Flickering
Wandering
Shouldering
A weight
I wait
How long?
Just how long?
A crunch underfoot
A boot beats down
Like deadening thunder
And unwanted blunder
Shivers
Slivers of shining red sky
The glimmer of morn
Trying to escape night forlorn
Time stops
Stillness sets
And a cricket sings
Its lonely song
I wait
And wait
And wait no more
Night is gone forevermore
Light sounds aloud
A refrain of...

Dark America
Modifying and adjusting
Color
Flying mute and broad
With sparks flying and purpose intent
Cracks retract
And shades imbue
Freedom opens her eyes
And in contrast to society sings
In jumping, falling, ecstasies
Like a black hole with light at the end
Red strings crawl and shadows turn to skulls
The ocean swallows like sparks in a mouth
Dry grass and dead cars
Sing
Color

Succumb
Coffins Linger
In crimson translucency
Knocking, rapping, echoing
Their refrains enrapture
Singularly a voice sings
A sultry goddess
Of Mountains, ominous and dark
Glorious, they sway
Capturing imagination
Liquid, moving, with every breath
Mermaids on yesterday’s horizon
Gaze lustily
On today’s destination
And waves crash over all
White foam hangs in the cold air
Transcendence of time and space
Arrests and caresses
My soul
I am whole
Death wraps its arms around
And I...

To a face tear stained

Help Me Now
I look at humanity’s existence
Crawling on hands and bloodied
Knees saying, “Please, Help me now”
Man in top hat
And cravat
Looking down
Spectacled nose
You spout prose
Speaking endlessly
About yourself
“Help me now.”
A phrase drowned out
In the busyness
Of all the atrocities
You commit
Crawling on hands and bloodied knees
You exist
Lost in thought

Perfection in life
You lie to yourself
A victim of a mad mind
You whisper out

The Scent of you
Ascends my mind high
To the mountain tops
Of the curves of your breasts
Silk smooth skin
Beneath my touch
Awakens deep desires within
Like pleasure of sin
I indulge a while
The red of your lips
The sway of perfect hips
Intoxicates
Flooding warmth until
This brazen lust
Over your perfection
Betrays the secrecy
In which I beheld you from afar
Our eyes meet
I am undone
Ascends my mind high

Dying Destiny
Dwindling coals
Of crimson life
Lie abed cold Ashes
Demure
Obscurity presides
Forgetfulness resides
And embraces
With emaciated arms
Starved
Carved
From hatred
Destiny beckoned
Promising fruition
Of deep yearnings
But the enchantment of distraction
Enticement alluringly won
Attention from this lost
Soul
Whole
Full
No more
Gore
Sings a song of wailing precedence
Hollow mind
Dying heart
Be its residence
Sanctity of unadulterated destiny is dead
Of crimson life

Crimson Love
Sacrifice of love
Crimson flow
Showers on stark white floors
Pooling
Pulling life
Lulling strife
And beauty begins to fade
From colored cheeks
To pale white skin
Snake skin
Snake scales fall
Heralding deaths call
The pool steadily grows
White masked surgeons
Frenzy
Fools
Cries
Sighs against sleep
Desirous and deep
Two newborn screams
Twins
Woman shudders and shakes
Pale deathly pale
Death knocks
I can barely stand
This horrible
Crimson love
Crimson flow

Sleep
Soothing nighttime slumber
Surrounded by childhood dreams
Night is peaceful black
Careening, a fan circles
Repetitively knocking its casing
The song of today is gone
Wisps of fond remembrance
Dance like fairies of imagination
Sweaty faces glisten under moonlight
Smiles meander coupled with consternation
They dream
Of wonders and creations
The world awaits
Dawn will soon shine
But for now, sweet sleep embraces them

Comatose Corpse
An aura of thin, un-breathable air accentuates
The simple stagnant solitude
Like locks of long, louse infested hair
Drape disarranged over dying shoulders
Time travels by
Leaving untouched the corpse
Shrouded by shields of silence
Only disturbed by the growth of water deprived moss
Stains of soil and succubus lust
Streak from head down
Like ancient artifacts articulate their age
With weathered and wind driven forces
Kneeling knave of yesteryear
Shriveled mummy of natures creation
Beautiful beyond burnished stone...

Stuck in a rut
This equanimity
Threatens to die
Visions of conflicting equality
Vie for this hearts cry
I am torn from within
Hidden sin
Each promise relief
But deliver a dead wreath
Graced with ornaments
Of putrid scents
Of reality as it is
Finest
Due to an eternity of practice
I am the fool playing the wisest
Disappointment
Continued desire rent
In two
Pullings to prove
Truth not even there
For the sake of what?
Stuck in a rut
