POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
I write what I feel. Right now, I'm struggling to find the words, because I'm feeling everything. A bit overwhelmed, but hoping to find my voice again. Patience, right? Refer my last attempt at writing something...
Now that I am gone.
If you truly knew me, then you’ll always feel me in all the joys that resided on the outside; in the many things that I found pleasure in: An eclectic tapestry of both beautiful and enigmatic things which intrigued, and made my spirits soar. If you truly knew me, you’ll always feel me in your quiet moments, now that my words have faded away.
Some of you will discover me, now that I am gone, and understand me in retrospect, see me through the memories of others or awaken to the epiphany that was my heliotropic life. Oftentimes humans are blind to each other, and only truly see...

Love is not for me.
I cry for all the times I wasn't my best self,
when Love didn't love me enough to forgive me,
when Love didn't see beyond my insecurities
and when Love made me feel alone.
I cry because my heart aches badly,
a gut-wrenching torment,
as all the pieces of jigsaw, broken me,
shift around, incomplete like a messed up puzzle.
I cry because devastation is choking the life out of me,
as I hate myself for putting so much effort into Love,
who loves reminding me that I'm a mess,
in Love who doesn't really... love me.

Chaos
Anxiety clawing,
looking for a scratching post in my mind,
Threatening to pervade my thoughts,
hoping to sneak in,
to overthrow this moment,
and choke the life out of any peace I feel.
It's lonely feeling vulnerable,
even lonier when I'm up
against myself,
wracked by my demons whispering my deepest insecurities in my ear,
scornfully reminding me that
I am a mess,
and no matter what I do to fix it,
or fake it,
reality is my cross to bear.

First kisses usually
happen in inconspicuous places, like mine did.
A sandbox at day-care, and an infatuation with him who
was my Disney prince.
Although he, he came galloping
across a patch of lawn, often wearing red wellies.
I loved him, or so it felt!
Our kiss was clumpsy, silliness,
and we sniggered through it, and continued
building our sandcastle.
I walked on kiddy-bliss, thinking:
‘That first kiss was AMAZING!’
Entering a library for the very first time in my life,
A word heaven; a...

What it feels like.
There are moments that
fill my being with so much happiness,
rare moments that reach
right into the darkest
depths of me.
Dormant. Untouched.
Lifeless.
Me.
One such moment came along,
and every fibre was awakened
by a surge of
you-ness,
seeping into my battered heart,
a feeling that
decorated its walls
with countless masterpieces
far more superior
than anything
Van Gogh.
All the seasons of your love intrigues,
dances across my mind,
enthralls...

You
I don't think I've told you how it feels when we are together,
doing the mundanest
of things, or...
when love ravages our
sensibilities,
those moments when you are
holding me.
It feels like home.
It feels like being in the middle of
a field of sunflowers,
their faces to the
splendid shine, yes...
The essence of you,
your voice,
getting lost in love,
the vibrance of your being,
is my happiness.
You feel like home.
You feel like the surreal promise
of a 2am...
doing the mundanest
of things, or...

Us
Two hearts enslaved, imbued with desire.
Bodies entwined... glistening,
as they stoke each other's fire.
Two hearts moving, emotions soar.
Hardened nipples... moans,
as they indulge in passions war.
Two hearts beating, parts her thighs.
Exquisite torture... gasps,
as she feels his tongue inside.
Two hearts racing, straddling her Master,
easing him in... he sighs,
as she delights him, riding faster.
Two hearts meeting, he rises above,
manhood in her wetness... thrusting,
as they chase the rush of...

The Sad Truth
Sometimes,
I've given too much of myself,
not hoping for
love in return,
not expecting anything.
While that might seem
heroic to most,
the sad truth is that
my relationship
with Dad taught me:
don't demand too much of love.
But sometimes,
it's an amazing feeling
to be with someone who
really sees
me.
With someone who
hugs my day with
ordinary, everyday
expressions of love
I''ll miss
when it's gone.

The Visitor
He shows up, uninvited,
Dark shadow on her way,
Gnaws at her thoughts like a
ravenous beast,
he slowly takes his prey.
She submits to his will, weakened,
although she knows escape.
Imprisoned in the tightest grip,
as he continues with his rape.
Finally she’s had enough,
and she patiently shows him the door.
His message has been delivered,
he’ll be back for more.
She knows her visitor all too well,
his darkness an old friend.
But now she is empowered,
and dictates his visits end.

Talking with you
At we-don't-care a.m,
Contemplating the universe,
And other profound nothings,
Stumbling along, lazing...
Singing off-key tunes,
Laughing at our silliness,
Stealing cuddles, kisses,
Making clumsy lust, touching
And falling apart, into each other
Not caring about the unknown
Anymore
Strolling barefoot
on the beach with you
On a breezy, sunny day
Straining to hear your voice,
above the sounds of crashing surf...
Sunlight dancin', on the waves,
And in your smile, as we playfully ...

Torn
Crossroads always hurt my head
I'd rather have a way
That's easiest and free of thought
No doubt to lead astray
My heart has seldom been my guide
My head, the master says
Do the thing that's safe and right
Please step this way, yes?
Perplexed, torn between the two
Head hung in much despair
I turn my back and walk away
Crossroads still waiting there
I'd rather have a way
That's easiest and free of thought
No doubt to lead astray
My heart has seldom been my guide
My head, the master says
Do the thing that's safe and right
Please step this way, yes?
Perplexed, torn between the two
Head hung in much despair
I turn my back and walk away
Crossroads still waiting there
