The Doorman
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
I stepped out my vehicle and pushed the door close. Several shopping bags within my arms tumbled out onto the concrete pavement near the curve side. I looked around to see if anyone witnessed my gaffe. I flashed an embarrassing smile at the man walking out the door of my condominium building.
Carlos looked around. He turned his attention back to me. A wolfish grin highlighted his face.
No assistance? Oh, it’s like that I thought.
I bent over to retrieve three of my small Tiffany bags knowing the view of my lacy...
