It is Over
You are not coming over anymore I know,
My heart will not continue to grow.
Passion again I will never feel,
The rest of my life a tasteless meal.
No more in my stomach those butterflies
From waiting for you to drive up and tell me those lies,
Those lies that said, "I love you."

Pain
Love is pain through and through,
I guess I was never meant to have you.
You hurt me, I hurt you,
So what are we supposed to do.
Two hearts that want to be together,
Are doomed to be ripped apart and severed.

If I Lose You
If the time ever comes for us to part,
I will forever lose my heart.
Dead and cold it will remain,
To deal with the never ending pain.
My starry eyes will no longer see,
Anything beautiful or hopeful to be,
For losing you would mean I lose myself,
Never wanting for anything else.

Once I was Your Girl
For a fleeting moment I was your girl,
And to me that meant the world.
You will never know how much you meant to me,
But very soon you will see.
I no longer have any hope,
And certainly no way to cope.
I think you knew this from the start,
So why did you go and lacerate my heart.

Your Girl
I wanted to shout it from the rooftops,
I wanted to voice it to the world.
I wished for everyone,
To know I was your girl.
Thinking you would not mind,
That I took this feeling to heart,
I became too dependent on your love,
And I guess this tore us apart.
I still love you just as much,
I still love you the same.
But the kicker is you don't love me,
And I have gone insane.

Passed Away
My heart cannot wait,
I have to go.
You took too long to decide,
So for you I chose.
I can see you looking down at me,
No expression on your face.
You lay a rose on top of my dress,
The one made of lace.
I would give anything to see you smile
Just one more time.
But it is time to lower my casket,
You will no longer be mine.

In the Dark
Drowning in the haze in my head,
The not knowing is causing this dread.
Why will he not answer for me?
It is creating an insanity.
Overthinking is all I can do,
If only I knew your love was true,
Maybe these feelings could subside,
And take me off this roller coaster ride.
I need to see you,
It is driving me mad.
And becoming the worst day I have ever had.

Question
Why do you ask what is it do I bring?
Is it not obvious from how my nature sings.
I bring happiness but also pain
Because I am human, why not ask me again?
Sometimes laughter and sometimes sadness
But also smiles and maybe a little madness.
After many lessons in life learned
Loyalty is a top priority and trust is earned.
But overall my favorite gift to give is love
Wishing for its return from you and all of the above.
Is it not obvious from how my nature sings.

Because I am human, why not ask me again?

Dark I am and shall be,
No ray of sunlight befalls me.
I am the keeper of the night,
Of all that stirs 'til morning light.

Your touch was like reaching the stars,
I craved to be enchanted by your charms.
When together, the world belonged to only you and me,
At the sight of your smile, I was sure you loved thee.
Never wanting it to ever end,
The time with you as my lover and friend.
Passionate and a little romantic you were,
Making me experience a new self worth.
But what grows is always sure to die,
Especially what was based on a hidden lie.
