Devoured
"Devoured"
Am I to fight this battle alone?
Sweat running down my face
Blood dripping from the flesh torn from my fists
I turn to see your back facing these eyes of agony...
I cry out HELP but you don't turn around so I struggle to try to get away from the enemy but instead, I am devoured
Thanks for nothing....

Love's Residue
When you open your eyes, I will be gone
Leaving behind a residue of my love in your memory
A love that wasn't enough
A love that was not satisfied
A love that you chose to abuse by cheating
A love that loved you beyond justification
A love that loved you just because
So now when you wake up to tell me good morning, tell it to the ho laying next to you because I won't be there
There will only be the love locked in your memory as a lost residue...

Faded Poetry: Faded Love
Lost in the poetry of deceit, my pen gave out of ink,
How smoothly you used to create, imprint, and implant on my page but now the ink no longer flows....
I tried to tap the pen to get the ink to come out but the more I tapped, the more the ink began to fade...
Creating a disconnection between pen and paper; I now have to throw you away because somehow in writing this poem, my pen gave out of ink, interrupting my desire to write...
With this disconnection my passion has changed, now the love that I once had for you has faded, just as the ink to this poem...
