Tho this time it’s not so daunting
I’ve become familiar with it
There’s an eerie familiarity in its embrace
It’s surrounded me for so long
Not always surrounding me but always just around the corner

I made a wish upon a star
That night while we sat drawing in the back of my car
I made a wish that seemed it was so far from coming true
From the vision I had of my life from the hopes of me and you
You filled my life with true excitement and happiness from the very start
You made me laugh and made me never want us to be apart
Even though it's not what you wanted I still fell in love
When our souls first met it felt as they matched like a glove.
I tried and tried to keep myself grounded

I wonder what color my brains will paint the wall
Did anyone hear the shot? Did they hear my body fall?
I hear the foot steps rushing up the staircase.
I hear my moms screams when she sees my brains blown all over the place.
The color is red and chunked with pink sprayed all over the walls.
I wish I had known this was my final curtain call.
I now lay limp and lifeless on floor.
