The One
No doubt about it
You were the best I ever had
Straight loving is what you gave
Unearthing the beauty hidden within
With you I learnt to cherish
The scars on my soul
And repair the fractures on my heart
Putting all my pieces together
Lovingly, One stitch at a time
You held my wings
Till I learnt how to fly again
Your Aura, a delight to be around
A connection so deep
Like Ying and Yang
With you I was finally home
But time was against us
Unspoken words left unsaid
Even if your time has run out...

A rare wildflower she is
Nestled between the rugged edges
With roots firmly on the ground
Her soul as free as the Alpine ibex
The soft breeze sways her gracefully
Like the ballerinas of the black swan
And though wild like the ocean
Her abundance of radiant colours
A delight to be around

My Love
The volcano has finally erupted
Gushing the ferocious fire
That's been burning inside
For a love so intense like ours
Chemistry, Biology and physics
The triple sciences of Love
Oxytocin, dopamine and seratonin
In relative ratio and proportion
Like synchronised swimming
Our hearts, mind and soul
Contemporaneous in motion
Singing in perfect harmony
A perfectly hung woven tapestry
Each colourful thread completes the picture

Memories of how we used to gaze
At the bright night stars together
Counting the magnificent constellations
Still fresh in my mind
I now stare at the dark sky alone
Wondering how we got to this point

I thought it would be painful letting go;
Heartbroken and completely lost
From the eyes that once admired you
To the lips that once spoke so fondly of you
With nights turning to days
And days turning to night
You were the anchor I once formed my identity upon,
The compass that showed me the way
The light that illuminated my path

I watched you from a distance
As you slowly faded into the horizon
Out of my parallel universe and into your reality
How I wanted to run after you
And pull you back into my arms
I called out your name
But only I could hear the words
For the next few minutes, time stood still
Why do we have to exist two worlds apart
