POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Such a Fragile Thing, Life.
If it is now that we have obtained the gull to admit that these sands of time we are clawing and kicking to escape. Are only slowly defeating us as we sink deeper with every desperate attempt to flee. Then come hell or high water, we need to bite our tongues instead of proclaiming we have the ability to change this world. Because its not the sphere that is broken or damaged. It is we as a whole.
The sand pit we are trapped in, was placed there by none other than ourselves. And we dove head first. A choking and over encumbered sensation, death. Oh the realizations that grow so very...

I Am God
I am god
And my world
Is inside me
You are god
And your world
Is inside you
Because we always devour
That which
We are to care for
We are a gluttonous race
Our hearts fall apart
As we attempt to save our face
We Procrastinate
Until its too late
Inevitably inching towards
Our final day
And my world
Is inside me
You are god
And your world
Is inside you
Because we always devour
That which
We are to care for
We are a gluttonous race
Our hearts fall apart
As we attempt to save our face

Until its too late
Inevitably inching towards

Sinking alone
Where am I
This room is small
The walls are in so close
It's padded, bedlike
closed, sealed
I dont think I'm getting out of here
I can hear them throwing the dirt on now
Each pebble echoes
Cracking through my ears
The worms slowly slither through
I can imagine family outside
Hearing my screams
And thinking nothing of it
How fucking ironic
That's all I've been doing my entire life
Screaming, pleading
Searching, seeking
For an ear to be lent
Prior to laying in such a bed
I know I was breathing...

Somber and Sweet
I layed as I watched every one of you walk forward. Leaning in to give your thanks and apologies, the musky combination of colones and perfumes choked me. A funeral is a somber place to smell sweet.

Dream on Dreamer
Do you even understand
How much these lyrics strip
Slowly becoming bare
As each syllable slips
The phrases show more and more
Who I am
What I stand for
Alas
I am not one for boasting
So my notions
Will never part oceans
And wise men will say
And, of course, be praised
Dreamers will say
And those will be their last words
These facts make it harder
To fall asleep
In this amusing yet frightening world
When the mad men and leaders
Share the same face
Oh let the turmoil unfurl ...

Beneath Canopy Jaws
I walked along a curvy brick wall
On a moist path, in a frightful forest
Far from any home
Thousands of leaves
On this makeshift ground
Softening their fellows falls
Sound was nowhere to be found
Beneath the canopy's jaws
Dragging my hand lazily behind
As it rests and slides
Across the bricks thick thick slime
It's film drilled chills down my side
Moss deep beneath my fingernails
Innocent insects, killed accidentally
A most intriguing trail
Most others will never see
To abridge..

Last Chance For a Revolution
So anxious to get away from it all
Yet when alone
You crumble
You fall
Dying for attention
Starving for affection
All the words you combine
All those emotions you mention
Making statements
For meaningless acknowledgements
Never truly knowing
What they meant
Pitiful that this is your best
Praying in lonesomeness
For a message

A Bead Of Sweat From Each Of Our Tightly Clasped Hands
A Bead Of Sweat From Each Of Our Tightly Clasped Hands navigated through the cracks of our palms and became one at the prints of our fingers tips. And as we walked and swayed, it ripped itself from us forever. A miniscule piece of you and I dripped to the sidewalk. The only part of us I will ever leave behind. No matter how seemingly meaningless. It was impossible for me to let it go unmentioned. The first thing our bodies created together. Apart from love, and ridiculous happiness.

Maybe to Definitely
Maybe
And I stress like stretch marks
Only maybe
I no longer know what to do with me
Feasibly
And I stress like a mother
Watching her fetus leave for college
Only feasibly
Emotions leave me confused unreasonably
Perhaps
And I stress like a dog
Surrounded by cats
Nothing more than perhaps
I long for a definition or explanation
As to why I exhale and gasp
Definitely
And I assure you
Like a can of anything
My innards will be consumed till nigh
As my now useless shell
Is shamelessly tossed aside
...

Twitching lights
Her car began to feel rather precarious
Everything became ridiculously personal
Nothing was left unexamined
From honest insects to twitching lights
The smoke we spewed layed in layers
Cuddling the dashboard
Fogging the windows
Heightening my lowest thoughts
My saliva had turned to a paste
Causing my lips to slightly stick
My throat felt haggard and coarse
Sounds were devoured by my ears
And I, was stoned
Everything became ridiculously personal
Nothing was left unexamined

If god is too impossible to be
With the thickest of reassuring lies
I convinced the quivering fool
There is no meaning to life
The truth will only ever be
What you let yourself believe
If God is too impossible to be
Then he is no greater than me
And if time only exists because of we
Then let today be the day
I forget how to count
I convinced the quivering fool
There is no meaning to life
The truth will only ever be
What you let yourself believe
If God is too impossible to be

Roses Spat
Today
I smelled flowers
Roses spat fragrances at my nose
The sun fell perfectly
Covered safely, head to toe
Old people held hands
Slumping through the park
Smiling through dentures
Their devotion ignited no spark
Streams sighed lightly
Splishing and splashing the shore
But I witnessed nothing beautiful
For I didn't have you to adore
I smelled flowers
Roses spat fragrances at my nose
The sun fell perfectly
Covered safely, head to toe
Old people held hands
Slumping through the park
Smiling through dentures
Their devotion ignited no spark
Streams sighed lightly
Splishing and splashing the shore
But I witnessed nothing beautiful
For I didn't have you to adore
