I Will See You
My friend, see you in the twilight
Even when it is dark as midnight
I will remember you like a starlight
I will see you in the daylights,
beaming through the sunlight
I will remember your dazzling smile
Even as you walk your last mile
I will hear you in the midnight
When sleep creeps away to the midnight cry
I will think of you as a lullaby
I'll hear you saying, “it’s alright"
I will see you in the moonlight
Waving goodnight as you take your last flight
You will be my candlelight
Even in the darkest...

What's Up
Heads Up, wake Up, Stand-up
Something is about to erupt
This has developed into a cover-up
Is this a set up for the under developed why no check-up
If we are not wise there will be a pile-up
Back up from the line-up
They may think we are over developed
Maybe it's a plan to clean-up
We must be abrupt, interrupt
and demand a medical checkup
This is corrupt, we must speak up and follow up
Don't forget how many are in the lock-up, so...

Covid-Covid
They called it the silent killer believe to come over from China or where ever, but it seems to move on from Wuhan and now it is affects a worldwide population
We can't move on because there is no still no solution
First there was the delusion that it only affected a certain population that sets the confusion in motion
For it was almost a jubilation until they realized they too were suffering from suffocation and needed hospitalization and ended up on ventilator
Now Blacks and the young population are wondering how they came to that conclusion ...

Who Are You

Who are you when the sun goes down
Who are you when no one's around
Who are you when the lights turns on and the audience expects you to perform
Who are you when the stage is lit and you know this is it
The countdown began and the performance turned on
Who are you when they ask you to smile, it's being awhile!
When will you give your face a rest? Even at your best, you failed the test
Who are you with the twinkle in your eyes, when they turned a blind eye, you blink back the tear to a dry eye

Impeach

Impeach him or teach him?
What really is the right thing
Maybe it's not too late to reach him, so many lost faith in him, while others rely on him to do the right thing
Impeach him! Impeach him!
The question is, will that accomplish anything? The second time around, same thing! This is appalling
Yet, his head must be spinning with questions and answers burning within. Who is advising him? He already said he is not conceding or attending the proceedings. Should he be forthcoming and do the right thing, apologizing or resigning? Both would...

Just Justice

For heavens sake, pull up the emergency brake, how much are we going to take this is worst than an outbreak, it's more like an earthquake we are wide awake and afraid
Don't we see what's at stake We can no more think it's a mistake.
Something has got to break
All week am on bended knees
Praying for the keys to unleash this grief, not a relief,
not a release another one deceased
Our people are dying in the streets, there's no justice as we speak, this hurt so deep holding my belly I weep
We cry for justice! justice! but...

We are under lock down
Everything seems to shutdown
It looks like a ghost town
But it's just time to slow down
Jesus has come to town
Let's take time to kneel down

Friendship
Friendship should be like a guiding light shinning very bright even in the middle of the night
Or is it when everything seems alright, it is a bond that holds so tight!
You may feel you have the green light to say to your bonefied "that's not right"
Then you will find out you are not qualified, you are just considered more like a fly-by-night
So let's get it right, a friendship should be unified and justified and not just implied. It sometimes come through some hard times
Like some all-nights, some late nights, some watched nights, and many oversights ...
Or is it when everything seems alright, it is a bond that holds so tight!

A friend like you is a friend that's true
A friend that God knows would follow through
That was his plan when He created you
A friend that does not conform to the norms
A friend that will stay calm through the storm
A friend that spends hours on end to be there even to the bitter end
The time you spent to be there for a friend
others find it hard to comprehend

He cried Mama
Please, Please, I cannot breathe,
I cannot breathe! Help me Mama! Help me ! He cried
My neck hurts, my stomach hurts, everything hurts,
Just some water or something, please, please!
Oh! Mama, Mama, I can't!
I can't breathe! they're killing me!
On lookers begged for his release, he can't breathe!
As his nose bleeed
But their pleas brought no relief, their cries were denied as they looked on horrified
