POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Mr. G.R.
You look at me in fear
and you should. I am
the anti-thesis of life.
I am the slayer of men,
women and children.
I make flesh rot and
bones decay. My gaze
will make your heart
stop. The very thought
of me makes you cold.
But rest assured we'll
meet one day. Old and
feeble you will beg for
my dark gift. The gift of
death.

Man in the Mirror
Among people but
always alone.
Only the one in the
mirror really matter
or cares.
But people like me,
yes they do.
How could they not,
since I am perfect?
But I don't need
them. People and
things, all the same.
To be used, abused
and thrown away.
There's plenty of
people. Not worth
much any of them.
Still, attention and
praise feels good.
That's their only
purpose.
Stupid people.

King of Despair
I looked to the sky and
saw the stars fall.
I felt the earth tremble
like a leaf in the wind.
Then with the roar of
a lion He came.
The faithful looked at
Him in awe.
"I am but a servant of
the one who comes."
I fell on my knees at
this great wonder.
"Rise up, my child"
he said.
"You, the chosen one
should not kneel."
I looked at my body.
At the robes of a king.
"All this is yours to rule
until the end."
In gratitude for this...
saw the stars fall.
I felt the earth tremble
like a leaf in the wind.
Then with the roar of

The faithful looked at

If your body is a temple
If your body
is a temple
I have violated
you.
Beaten to the
ground.
Grabbed by
rough hands.
Your innermost
sanctum
torn open
by force.
I saw you
writhing in
agony.
I heard your
screams of
pain.
Yet...
I turned my
back on
you.
From far away
I watched.
Your naked body
washed by rain.
The blood was
gone.
You cried no
more.
In shame
I walked
away.
is a temple
I have violated
you.
Beaten to the
ground.
Grabbed by
rough hands.
Your innermost
sanctum
torn open
by force.
I saw you
writhing in
agony.
I heard your
screams of

From far away

Your naked body

You cried no

In shame

Sweet Death
Oh, Sweet Death!
Take me in thy cold
embrace. Enfold me
with the eternal gloom
of thy darkness!
Sweet lover! End this
pitiful charade called
life. End the torment
of unfullfilled dreams.
The lust and pains of
the flesh.
Make me light as dust,
as smoke blowing in the
wind. Light, untethered
and free. Forever released
from the chains of life.
Take me in thy cold
embrace. Enfold me
with the eternal gloom
of thy darkness!
Sweet lover! End this
pitiful charade called
life. End the torment
of unfullfilled dreams.
The lust and pains of
the flesh.
Make me light as dust,
as smoke blowing in the
wind. Light, untethered
and free. Forever released
from the chains of life.

Neverending Night
Oh how sad when life endeth.
Dried bones in a wrecked shell.
A wretch that once was a man.
When thy heart lieth forever still
in thy empty chest and darkness
cometh.
Then thou seest;
With blind eyes that never again
shall see thou beheldest thy
final doom.
Like a small bird of blackness it
cometh to seize thy soul. Ripping
it from thy immobile corpse.
Taken to the realms of the Second
Death. Forever to be nothing in black
seas of neverending night.
Dried bones in a wrecked shell.
A wretch that once was a man.
When thy heart lieth forever still
in thy empty chest and darkness
cometh.
Then thou seest;
With blind eyes that never again
shall see thou beheldest thy
final doom.
Like a small bird of blackness it
cometh to seize thy soul. Ripping
it from thy immobile corpse.
Taken to the realms of the Second
Death. Forever to be nothing in black
seas of neverending night.
