POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Us, in Paradise
Us, at the Beach.
From the sun’s hues, two golden bodies, warming
Towering cliff, rocky outposts, surrounding
Angel blue skies, candy floss clouds, hovering
Sea breeze, white ocean waves, lapping
Floodlight of Mother Nature’s colours, contrasting
No souls seen, our samba in the sand, dancing
The euphoria of a new found heaven, inhaling
In this perfect moment, let us be, never-ending
Me, on the Shore.
Oblivious for a while, the sea’s horizon, watching
Then confusedly transfixed, eyes to water, searching
Fate with its own mind, your hidden...

Three Words
I. Changed inside, the day you got
Lost. I now understand what it means to be
On my own. Life has become a grey
Vacuum. Empty, and devoid of all
Emotion. The world has turned
You shaped. My every action, an
Ordeal. As everything reminds me of
Us. Without which, I am nothing.
Lost. I now understand what it means to be
On my own. Life has become a grey
Vacuum. Empty, and devoid of all
Emotion. The world has turned
You shaped. My every action, an
Ordeal. As everything reminds me of

Aquamarine
Sea waves surging on the shore.
Swelling tide swallows
all hope. Still
waters
hide
you.

you.

Broken Butterfly
Can a butterfly fly when her wings have been clipped?
Her perfection broken, shocked, stained and ripped
How far will she fall, and what’s left below to land on
And if land she must, how long will she stay down?
Until she can believe that flying again is possible
Until her spirit feels there’s a reason to continue
In the depths of confusion, loss, pain n hurt
What could possibly aid and offer some comfort
When the sky has been shattered, the sun disappeared
Leaving no warmth, just emptiness n tears
And what if she gets crushed by people...

Four. Years. On.
Such a lifetime ago, feeling like yesterday
U were here beside me, astride me, inside me
Loving me... In that way only u could, will ever do
How I long for you again, most minutes, most hours
Nothing. Will. Ever. Live. Up.
How does someone reconcile such separation?
Least of all me, least of all when it’s you
With my whole being, every cell, every pore
Every breath, every inch of my soul
I. Miss. You.
The moon, your favourite, is now ever more special
It speaks to me in my darkest nights, omnipresent
Crescent for that night, and your...

A Rainbow
Come into my blue, baby… The ocean awaits you, to bathe and shower you with refreshing life and vitality
Come into my silver, sweetheart… For a precious metal you are to me, dazzling with beauty and pride
Come into my purple, prince… A regal crown upon your head I shall place, for worship, devotion and shelter
Come into my yellow, young one… Together we shine a bright light on dark and golden bodies in the night
Come into my crimson, companion… Let our hearts beat as one, pumping the blood of a thousand promises
Come into my green, gorgeous… Let’s...

This Tree
This tree can still blossom, a changed fate.
The branches will grow, weaker.
The trunk will be thick, hollower
The flowers will bloom, smaller.
The leaves will appear, darker.
It’ll take its own place, but not tower.
Because its roots have changed.
Not dead, but stunted.
Not diseased, but malnourished.
Not twisted, but confused
Not hacked, but scarred
This tree will still blossom, a dwarfed destiny
The branches will grow, weaker.
The trunk will be thick, hollower

Still...
A little bit of your taste, in my mouth
The impression of your body, on my mattress
A handful of your flesh, in my palm
The warmth of your smile, in my eyes
The smell of your scent, in my space
The sarcasm of your mind, in my thoughts
The wetness of your tongue, in my ear
The twinkle of your eyes, in my loins
The softness of your hair, in my fingers
The strength of your weight, on my body
The echo of your laughter, in my air
The tingle of your touch, in my breathlessness
The shadows of your dance, on my wall
The unspoken, our unspoken, in my...

You & Me
You
Beautiful, Shy
Licking, Fucking, Wanting
Always hard for it; Always wet for it
Desiring, Kissing, Sucking
Crazy, Loud

Judge Me Not
Judge me not by my bra size, but the size of the soft heart it hides
Judge me not by my non designer handbag, but what I carry with me inside
Judge me not by the highlights in my hair, but the things that light up my day
Judge me not by the cigarettes I smoke, but what these lips have to say
Judge me not by my deviant past, but the lessons that it has taught me
Judge me not by my taste in music, but the way that dancing sets me free
Judge me not by the selfies on my Instagram, but the smile that I try to wear
Judge me not by my postcode, but the...
