Have you ever wanted to touch the stars
But get interrupted by a glass screen

You look to a cloud to forget the stars
Yet again your desire is out of reach

The hope you feel before the knowledge you receive

Is the world truly lost to wickedness
Am i truly not alone...

Do we ever fully understand ourselves?

It seems like we know more about our neighbor, than our own self.
We pay attention to the haves, and have nots.
Cake miracle powder on our cheeks to hide the real blush.
Hide behind a screen hoping to find an answer to a question never asked.

What is this world we survive in?

In my few years of life I've felt more than I deserve. I've taken feelings from others, no not a parasite, but a predator.
I see it in everyone else, it's not just me that's the flaw, but everybody.

What is this world...

Look with your eyes, not someone else's
The truth might be right in front of you
But you believe another's hidden lie

People do change, constantly
Power of the mind is it's own downfall
Even if we like who we are
We change, we grow

Speak with your heart not your mouth
For the mouth always needs cleansing
The heart no matter how unhealthy
Tends to be pure and reliable

And live with your life
You have one
And everyone else is
