The Wager
The endless possibilities have staggered my brain
The ones that I've shared were all fun in our game
But the true victory lay in making you guess
Wondering all along, Oh Shit! What a mess
But alas our time table is nearing conclusion
You won't be around for my greatest illusion
Too bad you've decided to run far away
Good move on your part, live to fight another day
I had it all, it belonged just to me

I've never been Master of an indentured to serve

One last poem for you to remember me by
I hope you'll hold it close
One last hug and one last kiss
I'll remember those the most
I never thought the day would come
when we would say goodbye
I understand I've loved and lost
my world, my heart, my sky

Silent but deadly some people may say
to describe something we do each and every day
Some may be loud and some may be quiet
Some make us sneer and some are a riot
