Chasing Nightmares
Her life is a story
How she's lost in a maze
She keeps running
Towards nothing
Trying to catch something
For days
Which doesn't make sense
Because everything
Around her is falling apart
Trying to follow
The sequence of the events
Some chapters
Understood
Some seem to not have an end
Some Bouncing from one direction
To another
Starting over again
Confusing as it seems
Yet you continue to read
What's even scarier
Is chasing the
Nightmares while
Trying to live
Your dreams

Chasing dreams
Protecting my heart
Sharing my thoughts
Not fond of green
Deep embedded pain
Loyalty can't be bought
Romantic fantasy
Brooks and streams
Fields of bluebonnets
Moonlit exctasy

Destressing
And venting
Love to hate
Trust to lust

Rainy days

My Endeavors
I can persuade you I’m whimsical
I can persuade you I’m smart
I speak of my Endeavors
And all the times
I've fallen apart
I'm able to show
You I care
And to love with
All my devotion
I can talk about
My insecurities
And how many times I felt broken
I can share with you
My obstacles
And
My achievements
And pain
I can testify
Night and day
How God's love
Never fades
I can translate
Every last word
My fiery heart
Has and does say
But Its hard for me

Smallest Moments
My heart has chosen
It's path
After I've walked so far
Committed to my
Obligation
Turning around would be hard
In the past few years
I've become depressed
Emotionally hurt
Mentally a mess
The pain I hide
And the countless tears
I've cried
But to be honest
I'd do it all over again
For the smallest moments
That got me through
The good and the bad
For the laughs and smiles
Conversations which
Had lasted for miles
Adventures and care
I wish with everything
Inside of me...
It's path
After I've walked so far

You Have No Clue
I can't breath under
All your lies
I can't feel your love
Though all your hate
Im not having fun
Being played
By your mind games
I don't feel wanted
Or protected
By my father
You have no clue
How to treat
Your daughter
You'll never comprehend
The language
My heart speaks
My heart is not
A dish
You can serve for
Everyone to feast
If only my
Eyes could actually
Scream

Decaying Hopes
Will the euphoria
Of death take away
Her pain?
She sits on the
Bathtub side edge
Wearing only
A bath towel
Staring at the
Razor blade
In her hand
She wasn't crying
Nor was she sad
The only thoughts
On her mind were
Would she feel
Alive again?
If she were to
Cut through her vien.
Would her spilling
Blood wash away
All her pain?
It's not that
She wanted to die
She just wasn't
Any longer alive
She closed her eyes
She held her breath
Counted to ten ...

There’s Everything Left
As I look back
On my life
I see rivers
And oceans
Filled with my tears
Miles of walls
I’ve built
Through the years
I see the faded path
That lead me
To my hopes
And dreams
I wondered off
Into the wilderness
Where a Forest
Of pain
Grew inside of me
Devoured by
The darkness
Murdering
My beliefs
I see the
Bad choices
Abandonment
Abuse & addictions
Broken families
Bleeding hearts
And deaths hand
Claiming the lives of
My sister

On my life

Are broken
A quivering voice
That has clutched
Her screams
No one has heard
Her breathless
Whispers
Looped endlessly
In all of time
Seen from a far

Outside the grave yard
Fence
Where hopes and Dreams
Are layed to rest
The ink of her thoughts
Free-handedly flows
Poetic expressions
Of what's been hidden
Inside her Chest
She writes to those
Who understands her
Pain
To those whos hearts
Have broken and
Afraid to love again
She writes about the
Darkness where
There's no light
And the days she
Fades into loneliness
And the emptiness
Of the night
She titles her poetry
Signs her name
On the tombstone ...

Completely Broken
Alone in a room
Laying on the floor
Under the pale moon
She can't stop
Crying anymore
She is now completely broken
Her face soaked
From her tears
All of Her wounds
Are now open
Her heart has been
Shattering for years
A voice so vague
Speaks
‘Now... now...
Shhhh...
Dry your eyes
You'll overcome
Your sorrow
Maybe not today
Maybe not tomorrow
But one day
You'll be happy
Enough to smile
