Dreams Scribbled
Mind and heart
Have come to rest
At the tranquil reflection
Of my past
Yet day after day
Trusting for a
Brighter tomorrow
Tomorrow never comes
Life remains grey
Dreams scribbled
On a broken frame
I continue smiling
Concealing my pain
My feet keep on moving
Whether it's by choice
Or by fate
So I continue
Living this life
So many hate
My scribbled dreams
Are nothing but
Kindles burning
Warming myself
In this cold reality

4 am Again
Has sleep ran
From me?
Or my thinking
Chased it away?
Is it the quietness
That makes the
Clock tick loud?
Or could it be
My worrys on
My mind?
I can not recall
How long it's been
I've actually
Slept sound
Has it been
A week ago?
Perhaps a month?
Here lately
I'm uncertain
Of anything anymore
Here it is
Again 4am
I've got to
Sleep tonight
My crazy thoughts
I plea to cease
Hoping to remember
The poetry
I've written
In the pages
of my mind ...
From me?
Or my thinking
Chased it away?

The Awaited Day
The day
I've been waiting
For has finally
Arrived
I lay there
On the floor
With the bloody knife
Gasping for air
Clinging to my last breath
Deaths hand
Reaches for me
Whispering
"You done your best.
Come now. It's time leave with me".
My life was hopeless
I wanted to flee
Throwing myself
Away into the arms
Of death
For eternity
Was my answer
I thought
It seemed
I closed my eyes
Wondering where I belong
Questioning myself
'Is this what
I really wanted...
I've been waiting
For has finally
Arrived
I lay there

Coping In Our Hell
There is a contorted
Cauterized disturbance
To the soul
An obligation for conditions
To cope in our
Own personal hell
Intertwining our prosperous future and our fatal past mistakes
Seizing moments
From our lives
Damaged confidentiality
Soothing our demons
Falsified soundness
Releasing our pain
Encouraging testament to beam
They're aren't many
Who hasn’t
Encountered hopelessness
And some who
Melt and merge into
Their darkness of chaos
And oblivion
Clutching the...

She Is A Life
She is your seed
She needs you to nurture her growth
To bloom into a beautiful flower
If you neglect her
Or stomp her into the ground
She’ll only wilt
Incapable of standing on her own
She is a life
You brought into this world
She needs positive interaction with you
To build her self confidence
If you ignore her difficulties
And destroy her self esteem
She’ll become troubled
Searching elsewhere for validation for beauty
She is your daughter
You should treat her as such
In her eyes you are...
She needs you to nurture her growth

Withdrawn
I am a breath between the day and night
A poet of a saddened heart
Gazing at the moon
My soul whispered to the stars
That I will never know what it was to be loved
I fear will be an emptiness branded
Deep within within me
Withdrawn
I remain but a melody
Of my sadness as
Shards of my heart break
Off and fall
Yet I must live on
Surviving for eternity with the whispers in the loneliness breeze
As the sun sets and the moon rises
I will become only words and remnants of a melody
Slowly fading away

Rainy Day Thoughts
Rainy day thoughts
Do come from
Such a beautiful mind
Rain falling all around
Upon the tin roof
My favorite sound
Sitting on the porch
Writing a prose
How I danced
In the rain
In my wet soaking clothes
Alone another day
I’m doing the same
Thinking about
Getting wet
Vibrantly dancing
In the rain
Distracted visions
Wonder aloft
From desired

My skin

Teetering On The Edge Sharp As Razors
Everyday becomes
Darker and darker
As if the sun
Has given up
Finding no more
Reasons to shine
It's light
Leading me Closer
To the edge
Of my breaking point
The grass
Can’t grow
With the toxins
In the air
The environment
Polluted with so
Many lies and hate
Decaying
Everything happy
Beautiful and sweet
About me
Slowly breaking
Me down
Weakening me
To my knees
Unworthy
To breath
Clean air
I see them
Now as I look ...

Drowning In Sorrows
The birds are
Singing
Nature’s song
An all familiar tune
Of a sad soul
Living a war
And fighting one
She’s damaged
Not broken
She can be fixed
She’s lost in a
Wilderness
Of dying hopes
And dreams
The more she walks
She falls
Further behind
She try’s to be brave
Swimming
Yet terrified
Taking a deep breath
Facing her fears
Treading the waters of the spontaneous rivers
She pushes her limits
Nothing’s seems right
She’s gasping for air
The harder she tries ...
Singing
Nature’s song

Peaceful Song She Sings
Such a peaceful song she sings...
Cold steel stings...
Shes Such a beautiful sight
By self inflicted bind...
So much more than allowed
She's Kept selfishly.
Only to prove
Her Broken soul doesn't try to move...
Paralyzed in a crowd
She sings such a calming song.
Learning flight will be tough...
Such a beautiful sight,
Learning she is enough...
It is in her eyes,
The whispers once cried,
becoming her voice...
To fly is
her choice.
Awaiting the day
She flies away...
Until then,
She sings of...

I never chose to be a poet..
My mind bleeds words and the papers loves to soak in the ink of my thoughts.
It's a beautiful condition
Not a choice
Penned words
Without voice

To love again and again

Expressions of many emotions

I chose to be fine
During this time
Of my life
Tell me your tales
Challenge my mind
Take me to your world

Take away this meloncholly
