Proud human species, creation’s crown
We should see the truths revealed by the lockdown
Himalayas visible after 30 years
strolling on suburban streets, a fox with pointy ears
Rush to find the vaccine, get our lives back
Set the damn economy back to the fast track
That’s all good and fine, but sad truth is
The pandemic’s just a symptom, dying Earth the disease…

The Cliff
Sitting comfortably in my chair
By the cliff I nearly fell into
Enjoying my cold beer and a cigarette
Watching them walk towards their doom
I was lucky, I admit
Or just too stubborn to let go of the small branch
I grabbed while falling
Nope bitch, not for you, not for anyone
The road signs are there
we all just choose not to see them
It’s understandable, the view is breathtaking
Beyond the edge
The voice in the air tells them all they need to hear
Magical words of undying love
Oh yes, love...

T’was destiny’s most cruel joke, she to survive the slaughter
The one who loved the evil lord, the town judge’s daughter
Crying she remembered the last words of her father
Before the villagers went mad, murdering each other
“I beg you child listen to me, stay away from that dark man
Your youthful eyes don’t see it, he bears the mark of Satan
Our little town was peaceful once, now haunted sinks in gloom
And I’m afraid very soon he’ll prove to be our doom”
Cautiously she walked on deeper into the cave

Witch Hunt
Lightning flashes, thunder roars
Nobles, peasants bar their doors
Someone’s lifetime has expired
The Witch Hunter has arrived
Runic pentagrams ablaze
Mark the wicked’ end of days
Eldritch raven, hellfire hound
His familiars join the hunt
From the shadows they emerge
All the damned he’ll soon purge
Werewolves, vampires, ghouls march in
This whole town wreathes in sin
Fire in her eyes, ice in heart
Coven’s mistress’s dark art
Now unfolds in all it’s glory
Now things get all bad and gory ...

A Glorious Dawn
Twin guns blazing, searing, frantic
Fueled by fire Necromantic
Monsters, demons join the bloodbath
And all fall before the Apostate’s just wrath
Runes arcane and powers cryptic
Stars unlock spells apocalyptic
bog of Ugden, Wald of gloom
wretched fiends shall meet their doom
Forth go, wretch without a name
Carve a bloody path to fame
Cut down from the hangman’s tree
Bearer of the Skeleton Key
Foes behold in awe and fear
As he dons most sacred gear
Beasts of Aether, horrors of Ch’thon ...

Gravity
Sometimes,
but not that often anymore
i turn my gaze earthwards
then i see you, down there
clenching your fists at me
yelling your curses, throw stones,
then falling on your knees and beg
for me to come down to you
Now i know why
you hated me having my head in the clouds
you see, this comes with having wings
and i should never realize i could fly
so high i would not hear you
and you couldn't get hold of me anymore
to drag me down to the mud
you lived all your life into
You diminish more...
