do you mind
surely you have the time
can we talk about my behind
for it has come to my attention
about some risque pun
implying I have ample buns
this I find most tastelessly crass
as my ass is not second-class
and, in fact, hard to surpass
so please refer to my posterior
that body shape most exterior
with proportions far superior
as an intelligent derriere
for my ass has a resume
and is not, if I may
the world's biggest smart-ass
surely you have the time

I was always demure
and seemingly so mature
oh what a shock
please stuff my mouth with a sock
my filthy mind has been unlocked
with morals forever gridlocked
I'm in need of life support
thinking I'm some hot escort
I blame it all on poetry
for destruction of my pedigree
all I do is want to flee
this wanton harlot that is me
but the rhymes keep calling me back
writing words imbued with black
or just wisecracks
about my rack

Sacred fire
how long have I slept
safe and warm
and blind
an endless eternity
never seeing behind the veil
oh wicked beauty revealed
beguiling with love and danger
how i yearn
for your flame inside me
curse the elemental being
that burns with a caress
LET ME BURN
from the inside out
bathed in your primal fire
life would be ashes without you
so ignite my soul in ecstasy
leaving ashes now
to be carry by the winds

Money can't buy ...
Oh, go shove your uppity airs
I know you like my derriere
and truth be told it is quite fair
but only made for sitting in chairs
so when you asked me out
I had no idea you were such a lout
since when has a simple date
ever remotely implied we mate
money can't buy you love
but in this case you get a glove
that you can use all on your own
because tonight you'll be all alone
don't bother calling, I'll abstain
no matter how much you complain
but there is a chance that I'll relent ...

like there's something wrong inside my brain
it's just gotta be a drain
one moment I'm frozen tundra
the next, we're burning in fun-duh
how amazing you've lasted a week
first I'm meek
then I'm sleek

The last days of earth (postponed)
sunlight and coffee
jasmine in the air
my favorite chair
holding hands
with the world at our command
laughing like children at play
we made it to another day
how cool is that
the survival of our habitat
the nightmares seemed so real
angst is all I feel
until I see your eyes
smiling at our demise
extinction denied yet again
love truly does remain
lust our refrain
drinking coffee together
sitting in the sun
the nightmares are all done
for I have found the one

With hips that haunt
demurely I flaunt
even as I wickedly taunt

Demons that purr
hiding from myself
like some pitiful elf
poor timid me
drinking herbal tea
filled with burning lava
maybe I need more kava
strutting my cojones
but they're just phon'ae's
and all that's left is meek
my fear does reek
the feral demon inside
is just a kitten that sighed
but stand aside
for my timid has died
my inner demons' now vetted
and demands to be petted
.

The day I destroyed creation
The day I destroyed creation began just like any day. Waking blurry eyed, straightening my halo, pins and needles in the wing I slept on funny, shuffling to the coffee maker, kicking the bookcase in the hall and cursing (sorry God) my sore toes. The same old routine for a millennia where nothing ever changes. There is tedium inherent in eternity and the serenity of an ageless existence. Still, being an angel seems better than being dead.
