The day I destroyed creation

The day I destroyed creation began just like any day. Waking blurry eyed, straightening my halo, pins and needles in the wing I slept on funny, shuffling to the coffee maker, kicking the bookcase in the hall and cursing (sorry God) my sore toes. The same old routine for a millennia where nothing ever changes. There is tedium inherent in eternity and the serenity of an ageless existence. Still, being an angel seems better than being dead.
-Anyway, it wasn't my fault, maybe too many plugs in the outlet, a simple spark and swoosh (and why would God not have flame-proof drapes). So, uh, oops, sorry, that was the room I left creation in. Total loss, my bad. Odd that I never knew creation was so flammable. Live and learn, it's like I'm the last angel in heaven to hear anything, but I digress.
-Well, to continue, heaven's firefighters come from the hot place (being so well acquainted with brimstone, you know). It's pretty tiring being tempted by demons all the time, especially by sexy nude fire fighting demons (they don't need protection, uh, that didn't come out right).
-So, I have a new place that is way out in the forest (well, before it somehow burned to the ground) and it's pretty far away from other neighbor's clouds. This has turned out to be a good thing as the same sexy fire fighting demon is always showing up when something catches fire (he's teaching me CPR, I had no idea it required all those positions). Infinity really isn't all that boring after all. Oh, and life goes on. God made another creation (Kind of petty that he won't let me play with it, but I digress).
