the traumatised butterfly
fragile butterfly, I can understand why you drop tears
lingering in an autumn and winters sky
why are you in the wrong climate
a camel crying, treading on icy sand
why are you seasons away, you poor butterfly
crying inside the winds indifferent and cold arms
lingering unhappily, her wings feel like pieces of paper
she has lost the safe ability to fly, take a purposeful direction
lost amongst the arms of the cold and indifferent wind
an unhappy climate, an unhappy home
she is...

life , a pack of cards
our lives, random cards
placed into the palms
of our hands
some accept gratefully
allowing them to simply sit
and linger
happy with their jack
queen, king, or ace
their life is good
high up in the ranks of fairness
sunshine has landed in their laps
no problems, struggles, or deep pain
all runs smoothly, easily
the card sticks continuously
and these people
the ones with the good luck
never understand the lives ...
placed into the palms

the book and a relationship
a book is another world in front of me, distant from my mind
i am away with the fairies until i delve in deep
a zone is patiently waiting for me
no questioning , no resistance
words accept my eager and attentive eyes
allowing me to feel
engaged in the picture, me and my friends
word friends smile at the eager attention
shouting out of the corner of my intentional eye
no barrier to stop me from delving in
i look upon the lettering and the way
the words are scrolled...
i am away with the fairies until i delve in deep

sleeping beauty
this is about a kiss, a kiss that is beyond me, a kiss lurking somewhere in the stars
out of my reach, never have I felt the touch of passion upon my tender and loving lips
from a shining star who adores my soul, telling me I am beautiful
proceeding to kiss me, validating his spoken words
I ponder and wonder, oh maybe I am like a sleeping beauty, outsiders looking in
whilst my insides are taunting me with murky colours, floating after the faint purple
simply waiting for the perfect prince to take my hand, the dream is weird...

alien planet
i feel like i'm on a alien planet, a place full of weird noises
weird floating daydreams, i feel like I'm on a alien planet
this isn't earth, surely it has to be mars, maybe Venus
surely Venus. because i'm a woman and apparently
or so i've heard people say, women are from Venus
a place full of freaky noises, noises which don't make sense to me
a woman on Venus who can't comprehend her planet
is she meant to be here, she doesn't think so
is this her home, a planet of weirdness, abnormality, insane...

safe within the brick wall
to you, it’s a brick wall, but to me
it's strength in numbers
a cumulation of lonely
separate but strong minds
cemented together
in the hope, their separate strength
will disappear and meld into one
a unified group meeting
of single and lonely minds
stuck together like glue
inseparable
the closeness is overwhelming
creating a close bond
between alike friends
they are inseparable and unbreakable
pieced together for a purpose
they create a whole unit
a working together of separate
lonely but strong...
