More than the words she wrote
Dr. Maya Angelou gave me hope
You taught me to believe
That which is for me I would receive
Even though there were kids to tend
And clothes to mend
Rise up, you phenomenal woman she said
Don't you quiver and don't you dare bend
Stand up straight
Unlock the gate
You hold the key
Let them all see
Your beauty unfold

Randomization
Craving passion, attention, need revisions, to my decisions
Want admiration, for dedication, to a man, with no ambitions
Beautification? In my relations? Annihilation, no celebration
Self-mutilation, no justification, stay strong, communication
With God, denomination, doesn’t matter, the destination
Is the same, Revelations, he’s coming back, preparation
Be wise, fabrication, imagination, comes frustration
Need intervention, for my addiction, to position, sophistication
Realization, of the situation, overwhelmed, determination
To get it...

Selfish Encounter
I’m here with my Man
but I want her Man too
I saunter across the Ball Room
to get a better view
Of his gorgeous face
and his body contoured
He smiles down at his Girl
the one whom he adores
I stand beside him casually
as my hand grazes his
The energy sparks and ignites
But it’s no small fizz
He looks over at me
unable to deny the pull
I arch my brow and smile
with my lips moist and full
“Meet me on the terrace,” I say
without looking in his direction
But he knew I was talking to him ...
but I want her Man too

Psst Little Sister
If I could talk to that Little Sista, the one of my youth
I'd share some things foremost the truth
That life will pass her in the blink of an eye
So, be wise in your choices especially with guys.
Be thoughtful to those who are considerate of you
Put behind you those friends who seek to misuse
Educate yourself, this task will never cease
Take pride in your knowledge and own beliefs.
No one except God will love you complete
Until that is understood your heart will bleed
A painful lesson you'll have to learn
Love is still fickle even now at...

The Next Room
Making love to a Man
while my Husband is in the next room
Does that make me Harlot?
Not if you been what I’ve been through
Unloved, unwanted a measure too long
I dress meticulously while putting on my thong
Nervously I knock
on the door not far from mine
Slowly it opens
He whispers, “I’m going to take my time,”
“I know what you want, I know what you need.”
“Just lay back and spread those thighs for me.”
Does this make me a slut, allowing another to make me soar?
I hardly think so, My Husband is a bore

Love's Stranger
I was asleep with my eyes opened
wondering aimlessly alone
with so many people around me
This stranger who was so familiar
Took my hand, grabbed my bare hips
And whispered
Take a ride with me
Where we went I could not tell you
For it had no place on a map
I was blind, he guided me
To a peak
Once there all was revealed
I could see the beauty of the mountain top
I was not alone
This familiar stranger
became only familiar
as he stood beside me
holding my heart in his hands
And I, holding his.

His Creation
Making a Woman feel Beautiful,
is a talent.
Not all Men posses it.
Simply put,
Some are misguided on their interpretation and ability of the highly relevant matter.
Here's an analogy for all you delusional, self appointed, heartthrob, Romeo's.
Acquiring a blank canvas,
Da Vinci was able to turn it into the incomparable Mona Lisa!
I imagine during this time of creativity,
he had to pay attention,
to the very detail of her essence.
Coaxing her into existence with whispers of endearment, telling her exactly what she needed to hear....
is a talent.
Not all Men posses it.
Simply put,

I am more than a Peice of Ass
Contrary to what your Dick may think
My Vagina isn’t its personal fountain to drink
It is merely a lovely extension of me
That I choose to entrust to you willingly
When thirst causes you to take addictive sips
Words of gratitude need to part your lips
