Innocent
With these sins within my mind
I find it so very hard to find
positive thoughts that I had of mine
Synthetic smiles,
Underestimated lies,
predictable lines I said to find
Out if you’ll leave me alone
innocence it’s so artificial
It makes no sense
Why I missed you
You Asked for help
Said i can’t do it
Now I’m alone
The Feelings are gone
Time took too long
What I was feeling was wrong
praying on clocks but it’s still so slow
so I can go and sleep among
These dreams that are only mine ...
I find it so very hard to find

War, And Peace
Power and greed
Caught, In-between
Why, the bloodshed?
Who’s even winning?
When We’re bleeding?
Without known reason?
Is it really worth it?
Losing we believed in?
So you count on casualties and current events
adding Currency, life’s basic expense’s
Keep count, cars, houses, divorces,
simplest way to calculate
What was spent today
March in town wielding weapons
most soldiers carry heavy hearts
They’re Wondering scared,
nervously holding weapons
looking at graves...

Can’t put the phone down
can’t sleep tonight
Pitch black match ignite the night
Cigarettes closest I get to sunshine
No, I never knew what it was like
I hate to say I loved you
But you know I did
All I see is your face
Since you’ve gone away
I fucked everything up

All those things that I said
I said mean things

But I got lucky,

Spiritual not naturally
Screw loose lost strategy
convinced casually leave reality
Told my therapist
I’m bored and suppressed
Want to forget and leave what’s left
Shock faded then she replied

there's no room in bed tonight
should've known better
