something to lose, nothing to lose, survival....
some do it because they love it; some do it because they "need" to, some do it because of nature.... but deep down I truly hate it....
fighting....
in some shape or form.... purging every internal element that makes up the human storm; how I hate it.... I hate that part of human nature.... one's just one of many head cases- more or less participating....
I'd like to keep those rose colored glasses on.... I'd like to ignore what's fact in drown in one's temptations....in my case- pain is the ultimate...

left?
the sound of water dripping
into the empty universe of a
metal sink
watching the walls crawl
like a thousand
chattering
spiders
listening to the ceiling
reciting Chekhov
or the terrified screams
of some poor creature
being set ablaze in the
echoing distance
your eyes,
gone
your hair,
gone
your body
gone
us,
gone
left?

we are horrified
We are horrified
So, we are outraged by the Gaza genocide
I have a doctor's appointment at eight tomorrow
morning that is important if I miss this,
I might wait
for several weeks for a new one.
we see the pictures of Gaza, we are horrified
but our holiday has been postponed until
the end of August
Do we wonder why Muslim countries are not
doing anything for Gaza, but that means
taken a risk, but we convey our misgiving
as long as nothing more is needed

you’re a daisy if you do

know it’s true
held in check by fear
socially obligated to act like you care, life drowns here, suffocating the sleepless weary
walking in sun soaked dreary

Blindsided by flying monkeys extorting your
mind with their self-made crack. Mooching
on fears with a nod and wink. Something strange
came my way unrestrained wearing a crown too
heavy for their head. Thinking Cream of Wheat
is Crème brûlée and I'm thanking a wizard
on the loose from the asylum. Spooning my
chowder with ibuprofen thanking from the
wrong end of a memory stick. "Beam me up,
Scotty."
