Drag Queens and Blue Eyed Jesus
Here we are banning books about Rosa Parks
while the Pastor dresses in drag on Sunday
spewing a sermon of love that sounds more like hate
then goes home to berate his wife and children
but that's o.k. he asked for forgiveness
so next Sunday he'll expose the evils of bourbon
white Jesus with his flowing locks and blue eyes
carrying all his divine interventions
can't seem to rise above it all ...

I was sent an email by the tooth fairy
First off,
the audacity
of receiving such
an email around
three a.m. in the
morning
saying they take
my oral health
pretty seriously,
they don't wish
my mouth to end
up bleeding, as it
could be signs
of gum disease
they state proudly
in letters, bolded
and coloured in
red trying to
coerce me,
they continue on
warning me about
running the risks
of tooth decay
as I sit here
thinking about
all the shit I never ...

Midnight Carnival
Standing like a figure from some Twain adventure
i keep wondering when drubin's gonna put beads in that hair
when the fires came up from the underworld
he spit them out with a harsh breath
i swear I have met the long-lost son of Redbeard
while the court jester and his sister wife
danced like crazed fire breathing beasts
pointing through the smoke
with five skull rings and a pair
ink pouring through the pours of his skin
a top hat with frayed edges
he said to his carny operarius
those are stars up in that sky
so let the jesters...

Mother faked her child's DNA to exclude the biological dad from its life!

Then got pregnant a second time
to avoid going to prison. Didn't
work though! Thankfully so,
as pregnancy shouldn't be an excuse to really avoid penal incarceration. However that said,
it's a routine ploy, which very evidently works
for women, most of the time, supplemented
in this discernible scam usually by feminine tears; accusations of rape, or sexual abuse;
or odious coercion; you name it, women try
it and specifically in court, get away with it!

I am the voice of the wind
The one you've forgotten
That sang lullabies to you as a child
Now I am singing a song of despair
Begging for some grown kid to remember

whether said plain despite bore or cringe- whether said with some poetic crafty spin- how much would it matter- when guts spill like confessions to a "priest"- though without seeking "forgiveness" for quote on quote sin- though instead understanding

In life, I haven’t invested
Traditional living have I resisted
The distance seemed too far
I was never gonna be on par
For the demands on me
Proved be the source of much misery
Unfortunately I was weak
Giving in at the drop of a hat, never reaching the peak
Now here I sit…
Void of wisdom, of empathy and of wit
No direction, despite the many miles I’ve walked
My words are meaningless, just sounds I’ve squawked
I have nothing of worth left to give
It’s a crying shame on how not to live

what walls

Disconnected
Disconnected
Disconnected but searching for something
You’re in the car electric driving home not a tesla
Hear the phone look down but its almost empty
Lift the console look for my plug i cant find it
In a car not made of combustion im searching
Find the cord the lifeline we all the sudden seem to need
Plug it in my cars wheels slow down im coasting
Seems technology isn’t all its made to be so i
Lift the handle release the latch but the doors lock
Screaming down the Autobahn...

You know that feeling you get
when you're the thing in the room
although one else can see it
through their eyes you hear the scream
tortured by the suffocation

into some evil force
that must run through your veins
