Well if they call a wood chuck a wood chuck for the reason that it could chuck wood, would it make sense if the wood chuck couldn't chuck wood or would chuck just chuck muck instead of wood? So I don't know, can a wood chuck chuck wood?

If a maggot and a caterpillar hated eachother, then they met after they both turned into fly's, (one a butter, one a house) would they realize they were one in the same or would the butterfly taunt the house fly because it has prettier wings?

No, the butterfly would taunt the housefly not because of being less eye candy-ish, but rather for its affinity for dung, hence giving rise to the saying, "Like flies on shit."
