Listening to a CD of J. S. Bach and contemplating that wonderful Zen koan...show me your face before your mother and father were born. This koan always takes my meditation in a new direction...as the Zen story says...if you understand, then everything is the way it is. If you do not understand, then everything is still just the way it is.

I am pretty wonderful. This week I had to go for extra imaging after a "suspicious" mammogram revealed three blocked and enlarged lymph nodes. Between the mammogram and the ultrasound, I alternated castor and endoflex oil every day. When I went back this week, two were completely gone and the largest one was almost dissipated.

Ladies, get your yearly mammos. I lost one of my oldest and dearest friends to breast cancer a couple of years ago, and another caught it just in time to treat it. The latter is still taking the pills required for five years after treatment.
