this is really worth a watch. a commentary on what Bill Gates really says about COVID and evidence that testing is a real problem

It is certainly scarier than COVID

NC sees coronavirus cases surge in highest single-day total

https://thehill.com/homenews/state-watch/499322-nc-sees-coronavirus-cases-surge-in-highest-single-day-total

The rise in cases comes one day after the state began phase two of reopening its economy, which includes expanding restaurant capacity to 50 percent and reopening camps for children.

Sigh.

Sigh.

I'm pretty certain officials were expecting it. Their goal was to flatten the curve so as to be prepared for the spike.  The hospitals are equipped to deal with a major outbreak should it happen.

People aren't going to stay six feet apart. Most here don't even wear facemasks. "God will protect [ them ]."  The interview I posted a few pages back would change their mind on that mindset.  God also gives you wisdom and means.

On a side note, the church closest church here didn't open today; they're opting to continue online services for the safety of their congregation.

Yeah, my Sigh was more of a Damn.

But, the stay at home lockdowns made a difference and we can be thankful for that.

I can't remember who kept demanding Coronavirus victim names. Well, here ya go; obituaries included. Just order a copy of The New York Times Memorial Weekend tribute.

Oh, right. . .mass media and all. . .

Both are very strong visual poems in themselves bound to linger in the mind longer than any mere statistics. Fitting on this Memorial Day weekend.

Exactly; I thought it admirable that the NYT's dedicated their entire front page to the sobering reality ( despite attempts to detract from the subject ).

Reposting image and link because Memorial Day.

I still don't believe the numbers.
Some of these people listed may not,  have died from the virus, while at the same time there is always the chance that some others,  may have fallen victim to the disease and went  unchecked it could go either way.

These names are listed as a  way  to influence humanity.
what is  their agenda IDK

We can only hope,  that this virus will bring about something in people,  to influence them to  care about each  others again

We can't turn the clock back to when elders had their place in society,  that was not the nursing home
A place where their voice was heard, where they felt the need to contribute to the younger people,  the knowledge and wisdom that was taught to them.

The elderly  are over looked,  put away to suffer until one day they are a statistic. Open your eyes to these numbers
These are real  cases of people  who have in fact died of what they have factually reported
This is not a numbers game these are real people compare the numbers
Not by dates I know this is an old article that doesn't matter these are DEAD PEOPLE  who have been overlooked whose deaths could have been prevented

Cuomo, said “no, you can’t visit Gramma” ... I mean, no Gramma was left behind... all taken to the hospital and not labeled nursing home deaths. ⚰️⚱️💔 Don’t worry, he didn’t make it worse by housing then all together on quarantine....

The ones that aren’t counted are all those surviving who cannot see faces for months on end, if ever. Scarred by isolation and delirium.

Yes I believe that What I'm saying is the numbers hype to push those already afraid further into and whatever else their agenda is .
When there are  people who die every year during the winter freezing to death in their own apartments isolated and alone
This country doesn't have an elder population that is socially accepted to share their wisdom they are ignored
Did you see the numbers on those deaths
It's like the COVID -19 SARS-2 whatever TF they call it has turned into a giant soapbox They will probably make it a national day of remembrance why not they still celebrate Thanksgiving

What would be interesting are the death figures of normal annual Influenza Virus and of course the figures of Pneumonia and other fatal conditions measuring then against the normal death rates.

Also the rise in murders and family abuse and of course Suicide and mental health issues.

The figures, I am sure, will be skewed as the reporting on non-COVID deaths go under-reported and investigated the same is true of non-COVID treatments, and investigations of life-threatening illnesses. I am relatively sure that cancer deaths will defiitely rise over the next few years as timely investigations are not being done.

Illinois would have a more promising curve on paper if they could get Cook County under control.  They account for more than half the state.
