so how was my day?
well i finally created an account here at DU, i have been sketching awhile now, but always wanted to give a try with words. been coming in and reading for a long time, just took awhile to build the courage to say yes I am going to try this.
Also i could not find a introduce yourself thread or something similar.
With that being said hello everyone my name is Swagger and i hope to find an enjoying experience letting another creative side of me start to grow.
I am sure it will be a pleasure meeting you all and look forward to interaction and feed back. as it is the holidays my time here will be slim until 2020 but i am hoping to get a lil start before then.
i will end this with a lil piece of me, on of the latest sketches i have done
until we meet be safe and take care

only 3.39 and almost dark... thick cloud cover, rain, sleet and fitful snow, with a 'feels like' of 23 out there and an inch of snow predicted for overnight

Oh indeed! Sounds lovely. Taco Tuesday! It does seem like it's at least 6:00 here, as dark as it is. Been raining two days now. At least there is no snow predicted! I'm working on a few graphic designs in the office while the grandprecious is quietly reading in the living room. I'll be serving fettuccine alfredo soon!

I am off today and i'm baking breadsticks (from scratch) so my place smells like heaven.
Everything else in my life is upside down but I keep telling myself to stay focused of the now..the moment I'm in.

The paintings I've seen you post in the art group are enough evidence for me to think you'll get through your project. And I would enjoy seeing the half finished one when you have more free time -- absolutely no pressure tho.

A mixed bag. A bit of frustration, a bit of boredom, an outburst of anger, a little relief, then a sort of semi-pacifistic state, where I was able to utilize a creative spark and finally write something new after like months of nada.
I mean, not entirely productive, but things could be a lot worse,.

A bit chilly out here... just got back from the store, plan of drinking hot chocolate all day and working on an essay for school c:
Luna, my kitty... was not feeling well over the weekend but I took her to the vet and she seems to be recovering now 🎊, so overall, I think this is going to be a relaxing, stress free day...just have to get my essay done 🤓😝
