Well Steve, lavender tea was just horrible. Not a fan.

Do you sway to the coffee persuasion?

Tea is good enough... and in the spirit of survival i go for the latter...(if i can't find tea)

you? ...and the best Tea in the world...according to your taste buds?

I am a massive fan of Lapacho which has a gorgeous, earthy, almost smokey flavour to it. I have a blood orange & vanilla Lapacho loose blend and it’s just unbelievable. It’s a tightrope because you daren’t brew it too long because it can go bitter in a heartbeat. Much like Rooibos, there’s a firm brewing window 😆

I have to say that African honeybush is also up there in my list of favourites. Closely related to rooibos, it has that same warming quality, but is naturally sweeter. Little bit of honey added to that really accentuates the sweet notes. Absoloutly gorgeous.

Depends on the quality of the day on what I drink inbetween, but I seem to have shares in Yogi tea and can easily sink 40 brews a day. I wish that was an exaggeration, but it’s not. 😂

I normally make a litre flask and that’s gone before lunch.

I think when I (virtually) stopped drinking alcohol, I more or less replaced it with tea. Probably the lesser of two evils.

So how’s your day going so far?

I'm planning to visit the Ruthwell Cross https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ruthwell_Cross to read, or rather see, the Dream of the Rood.

What ancient site that is reasonably close to you have you visited or would you like to visit?

poet Anonymous

I suppose Malham Cove isn’t that far. That’s always beautiful and damn old. Though I’m headed to Stonehenge in the summer for a visit which I’m extraordinarily excited about.

What is the most memorable place you have visited?
