Is poetry truly "the continual extinction of personality"? (T.S. Eliot said so in one of his essays and it's in the second sentence of the Intro to the Encyclopedia of American Poetry)...and what does this phrase mean to you, as a poet?

For me it like;  when you write your emotion inspired by your own tragedies, you kind of overcome those. Then any of the personality changes with that particular incident will change again.

plants have feelings... no , i'm not sure i've ever heard of this one , how is that possible ?  i once heard of someone making music and musical notes with plants, i think it was on a programme somewhere
