I would deffinately have to say that my favourite is actually a tie between:

I like a poem I wrote that is sorta a love poem to a dragon written in middle english called Ode to the dragon. I like it because I used to have a thing for dragons

So we have a thread that promotes shameless self promotion. This appeals to the ego. I'm all in. Just one is tough though. At the moment, I'll say "Alexis is my favorite.

The Anemic Knife
I float forever, suspended in air,
My body, Anemic and weak,
One swipe of my steel friend and my blood spills,
I'm the king of the empty street,
Staggering through the alley,
My blood spills openly,
The 34th street of emotion,
My shirt matches my blood,
I lick the blood off my kriss,
The chrome with plastered specs of the soul,
I stagger and fall on my lovers grave,
And die with the sight,
Of her ghost in the fog.

The first free verse poem I wrote :)It is certainly lacking in merit- though I was merely a teenager , and I still manage to find inspiration from it.
A brief reunion of this anxious relationship
the fear of losing is something stronger now
Engraved into the back of my skull,
every word that has yet to come
To see the flaws that dwell within me,
envy at its extreme and my exceeding lack of power
A silent engagement and a tedious conversation,
cries of sorrow on a higher frequency of reality
This caption of mediocrity and failure,
embedded into my hopeless dreams of bliss and nothingness.
An illumination of truth,
a gleaming light of energy omnipresent and potent,
an undiscovered truth vast and endless.
Shrouded by the deception of man,
the lies and greed of every self centred being.
This malevolent plague that consumes us to this day,
to fear the end is weakness at its best.
A waking cadaver with blood in his eyes ,
the first breath of life in this land of sins
Death is the beginning…
