Random Possibilities
random possibilities down the road
he could experience if he wanted
what may happen if he kissed Milly
if he might meet his old friend Billy
possibilities of something happening
if he went to the old town
where his ex wife still lives
she might slam the door on his face, again
maybe he'll visit Milly instead
heck why not she was always willing
Maybe she did love him a little
he grinned maybe he liked her too

A Sidelong Glance Is The Sweetest
I'd wandered where the daisies grew,
by chance, and found I loved one best,
a Daisy leading all the rest.
I breathed a fragrant scent anew!
No other flower on earth would do
when once I'd seen her petals sweet,
no single flower could e'er compete
with her for loveliness. Divine
she looks, divine she is, so fine
she bloomed and made my life complete.

Glad Gladys
he knew her well
or so he thought
she was so sweet
and pretty as well
he called her Glad Gladys
cos she's always smiling
then one day he realised
his pretty wife was cheating
he didn't care about a mere slit
being prodded by another one
but despite frustration he never cheated
so he left Glad Gladys and rode East

An Old Song
The day was long
So many unanswered prayers
She sat on her bed and sighed
As her mind remembered an old song
Each day seemed worst than the last
Of faith, beliefs, and trying to forget the
cares.
She began to sing
Her heart started to beat
So many thoughts and so many tears
That old song and the story
Of the past, the present, God, the years!
Him and her, she and him
The love, the home and the worry.
Singing that old song.
The day was long

I hope to one day wake out of this fog.

Shake us up with no rings or fuss.
Where do I go for love?

in the swirls of the galaxy
into a distant quite fast
travelling express only
he looked out into space
thinking of all the time
he looked up and fantasised
he was there seeing everything
zapped into a wormhole
he remembered being scared
but he was there now
and felt quite warm

Wholly Delightful
He came across a hole one night,
all warm and dark it looked, just right,
so when he found it opening wide
he took a chance and slipped inside,
and found his guess had not been wrong,
that hole was good, that hole was long,
he liked it there, in deep he went,
and thought that hole was heaven sent
so played inside the whole night through
and found a thousand pleasures new;
that hole was warm, there was no doubt,
he never wanted to come out.
