I’m so lost in the dark I can’t see the good
The gut gathers momentum
The lights dim upstairs
If the end of the tunnel nigh,
I can't see it

Mornings

Caffeine-cigarette wakeup call
the world looks grey again
though the sun shines down
without a silver lining to spark my soul
into the sun lit dreamings
of every best yesterday

Street light car crash

Bloody knuckles
busted cars
bottle in hand to drown out the crowding
that crows along discordant paths
of chaotic chemistry

The telegraph pole looks tempting
tonight
wrapped in my blood

Midnight cigarette burns

Cigarette burns
pockmarked couch
ash on my skin
where the cherry kissed
the insomniatic drop
of paper fire nicotine

Late night TV
phone sex advertising
I don’t feel a thing

Tried to have a girl
Relationship would unfurl

poet Anonymous

The Catacomb

's
vault pounds
with neuroticism

chiseling the feeble
bones

cracking
the shaft of pain

treading the craggy
waves of the marrow

sinking in the abyss
of a revolution

in necrosis.

poet Anonymous

Paper White flowers
bundled in barbed wires rusted
eye cold, blackened glass

Folded love letters
Broken hearth can’t hold ashes
No breath for blossoms of hope
wilting in forgotten dream

Depression is a choice we make
no one can inflict it upon us
Were fated to make the same mistakes
When failing to see whats beyond us

my dad

a strong man

broken down
in the dark
at the bottom of the stairs

i descend
illuminating shadows
holding him in my arms

the fall

it's all in his head

Normal

Despite this depression
And near suicidal thoughts
I assumed it,
Whatever it was,
was in fact over.
I returned to my normality
without realising I would
never be normal again

Crooked Smile

I'll keep trying, I feel lost
my promotion to heaven?
hell no!
Let me respond
my mission is missing,
out of touch, no smile,
crooked, do I share?
maybe not.
