Deities and Demigods Vain and Vengeful
There's the gods above the clouds,
there's the clouds above the sky,
there's the sky above the men stuck on the ground,
but when the men got their hands on the cloud
and their heads in the sky they dont even believe in the gods when they're so high.

deities and demigods both vain and vengeful
real or not i only know what they bring is stressful
and i know you know you know i know the pain is mental
we just live it up livin tough every day.
syrup in the cup wheres my jay? time to hustle every way.
work skin to bone to blood till im nothing but a dusty gray.
dyin in an ugly way
bills to pay, food to table, all i can do is pray but i know ima leave the ones i love alone when i die an ugly way.
never been a real religious type but damn right we fight tonight as thugs we bow our heads and pray

i never knew the mans greatest truth was so simple im a need some time to adjust.
church is evil, and people are too, so who do we trust?
in the land of the free and the home of the brave aint no room for justice,
no there's really just us. we the people pursuing happiness but only money walks
from cali west all the way to the pistolvania fields of weed and corn stalks everybody tryna be the boss, tryna be like gods but the gods gonna keep way above us. keep us down in human filth put all of us in our places everyday.
on our knees hands together heads bowed with our faces to the ground we speak up and say

Oh Man, Right on man, this was a HELL FUN Competition my friend, sorry about the late reply for this... I got such a BAD concept of time man, my mind is so care free, but in honest, it was as much fun reading the entries as it was writing for this... miki, right on write my friend; your one o the greats, I always felt... wolf / Eddie
