Wait..
It is unstoppable
A natural force grips my wrists
and pulls me forward
imposing a reality i do not want
No amount of heel-digging
or defiance
or kicking and screaming can stop it
I wish to stay where i am
Right here, with these mournful feelings
suffusing, rippling every nerve
I will fight
Till my arms are
ripped from my torso
Because with each damn day
that I am dragged through
I feel you a little less
Wait..

it marks how far we're apart

know our years differ
by eight years. sure
its the truth that i

but i won't give up

a broken-winged dove
