Church Bells
The moon, full and white
stars simmer in the night sky
hope glimmers in our eyes
the selfless king
and the selfish queen
know not, as it seems
the calamity their love brings
i draw the devil
that spawned earthly seeds
the sun with all its rage
the clouds reflecting its rays
we wait for it to rain
the selfish king
kills its queen
with a knife
he silences the screams
knowing not what it means
to love his queen

Best Decision I Ever Made
From exchanging rings and fufilling wishes
To throwing things and breaking dishes
The love is still the same it hasn't changed
Even till this day I still find it strange
That we're still together after all the trials
My faith is still in you after walking the aisle
After all the scandal and the controversy
You prove to me every single day that you're worthy
Of wearing that two carat rock that's like a paper weight
I still remember our very first date
You looked drop dead in a subtle shade of red
Your presence turned heads and instantly I said
"Wow you look stunning in that dress tonight."
Suddenly I knew that you was the future Mrs. Right
To cook my meals and raise our kids
Captured my heart and I put in my bid
My investment paid off and I have no regrets
For better or for worse that's as real as it gets
Through sickness and health for richer or poor
You're everything I need I couldn't ask for more
A wife, a mother, a lover, and a friend
Through it all I'm happy no need to pretend
I honor our commitment and I'll always defend
Against any skeptics I'll do it all again

There WAS NOT ONE BAD POEM here....it was like judging the olympics.
