Mistress
A Hole In The Ground
The end is near
it's all crazy
the future's unclear
and the present is so hazy
to get so near
but again it does escape me
what I hold so dear
always turns out to then hate me .
I'm a hole in the ground
20 foot down
everytime you fill me in
you empty me back out
with no reasoning ,
warning or a sound
it's to the breeze again
a kick and a clout .
What is my crime
what did I do
half the time
I don't think you even knew
second hand lies
are a waste of time
try to find
something thats brand new
if in time
that you do
I wouldn't mind
being one of those who knew .
I'm a hole in the ground
dig me out , fill me in
there is no sound
pick me up , drop me in
I wander around
wanting to not give in
I'm lost then I'm found
I just don't know
whats happening .

Thru The Night
You came to me thru the night.
Wanted me to hold you tight.
So we held each other till morning light.
Your heart was so dark with pain.
Her memory left a stain.
Leaving her was taking a strain.
Our life together is doomed.
Can't face another wound.
