Year of the Dragon
Anonymous
Jump
Left the ground
Now I'm soaring
High above
It's hard to look down
Heart in my stomach
Thinking twice about it
But it's too late
To turn back now
Open the hatch
Jump out
I'm skydiving
Free falling
Pull the cord
Now I'm floating
Back to earth
As a new man
With a renewed perspective
I'm a one timer
Not a thrill seeker
Taking the plunge
To do what's right
Is easier said than done
But now that I did it
I'm better for it
Because once I've reached that high
And seen my life flash before my eyes
There is no doubt in my mind
That if I seek
I shall find
Left the ground

thank you rex your words ring true he was a man beyond his time and the tiger is one of my favorites i think i have learned it by heart and he does carry a special place in my tortured heart thank you again for taking note of such a beautiful poem
