The Changing Mood Of The Wind

The wind was blowing with all his might
He hissed and howled through out the night
His mood was foul he was full of spite
That made all creatures shrink with fright

He pounded on the roof like a horse's hoof
So vile was his temper so sour was his mood
Jeered at the windowpanes knocked the curtains down
His voice was loud, booming with a fearful sound

Then his fury turned to the silent trees
That were awaken from their blissful sleep
He shook their trunk and broke their twigs
And without pity stripped their leaves

Without contentment he kept on blowing
His temper raged without abating
He showed no mercy he was full of wrath
Destroyed everything within his path

The wind was sober towards the break of dawn
His fury melted when the rain came down
He left in haste, went to another place
Leaving mess and clutter along in his wake

When the wind isn't angry he is soft and sweet
He transforms himself to a mild, gentle breeze
He comes to play and blow kisses on the leaves
That thrills them to swaying and dancing in the trees

Windmeld

step outside
heartbeat
instantaneously
matches
powerful
pace of
night’s
air.

breathe her in
deep
become
energy
storm
electricity
alive.

wind
and
i
meld into
one.

flowers of milk

as i go over the sealskin of roads shiny as new ink,
is there honesty in shame, the burden on ourselves?
speeding steady through the first
snowfall of Summit-Waller,

stare at the source too bright and drive,
it doesn’t matter the temperature
it’s still there behind the eyelids
the ghosts of light on an elliptical track

and you its center recognize the signs of shock,
the sky is weaving lace ever so slowly
threading the dark, here you see
through it until you don’t,

this is how it is unlike smoke, i keep
waiting for a gaggle of geese to fly behind me,
you remember summer at times like this,
the flowers of milk drifting up instead of down,

i’d like to have 50 names for this, as the north does,
the white substance falling inside me
turn me blind, i’m burning my eyes
out as hard as i can to see better,

look directly at it until it absorbs
you, the solar flare has reached out just far enough,
i was under the eaves when a canine figure loped past,
headlights not far behind it- this is a better

description of ghost- the reimage outlines
although my eyes are open,
this is me behind the car behind the spirit,
it is sufficient to be a goose in formation,

another form of howling headlong, a message
sent posthaste by the ever dynamic
ancient currents, and the honesty of it honeying
our skins, through our hair, gentle and outrageous

In the Wind

In the wind I hear the echoes stirring,
Calling out like old lonely memories,
Reminding me of ancient secrets spurring,
Whispering softly like old faded reveries.
It caresses my face bringing me to that place,
That haven I seek solace and consolation,
That elation I find in my mind unobtrusively,
Like a dream I pray for to bring me my salvation.
In the wind I hear old sins murmur and fly,
Unseen to the human eye but heard in my heart,
All the hurt that I took and also gave away,
From dying days when the end was just the start.
In the wind I feel the added momentum,
Pushing forward to accomplish all things,
Propelling me today and into tomorrow,
In the wind I feel the desire to spread my wings.
