The Changing Mood Of The Wind

The wind was blowing with all his might
He hissed and howled through out the night
His mood was foul he was full of spite
That made all creatures shrink with fright

He pounded on the roof like a horse's hoof
So vile was his temper so sour was his mood
Jeered at the windowpanes knocked the curtains down
His voice was loud, booming with a fearful sound

Then his fury turned to the silent trees
That were awaken from their blissful sleep
He shook their trunk and broke their twigs
And without pity stripped their leaves

Without contentment he kept on blowing
His temper raged without abating
He showed no mercy he was full of wrath
Destroyed everything within his path

The wind was sober towards the break of dawn
His fury melted when the rain came down
He left in haste, went to another place
Leaving mess and clutter along in his wake

When the wind isn't angry he is soft and sweet
He transforms himself to a mild, gentle breeze
He comes to play and blow kisses on the leaves
That thrills them to swaying and dancing in the trees
