There is no where to go, it's where ever you meet online. Right here, maybe. The last place I would go is to a dating website. I tried those, nearly every last one, and I met a handful of women who were nothing at all like they described in their profiles, their pictures were from 15 years ago and were more desperate for love or abuse than I could ever want to be involved with.
On the other hand, if you are a creative mind, where better to seek out someone with a like mind than a poetry site. And you can learn alot from the poetry someone writes. I think people more honestly express their feelings and desires in poems than they do in profiles. I think we express our weeknesses in poetry that we would never put in a profile, esspecially if we know the people reading it are looking for a date.
Having said that, I bet 70% of the people here are NOT looking for a date and likely will be annoyed at being hit on. So there you go...

I should hope so Grace, but sometimes I wonder. In fact, most times I wonder. Somehow the ones I meet online are always too far away to meet unless they are on a dating website, and as I mentioned, they never turn out to be anything like their profile. One that I met about 10 years ago had pictures of her that were from so long ago I didn't even recognize her when we met, and I could see why she had posted them. Wanting more is fine, but honesty has value. It's like a commercial for a Big Mac, lol, have you ever seen a real Big Mac that looked even remotely as delicious as they do on tv or on billboards? You can't even see the meat hiding under the bun when you're holding it in your hands... lmao! jj
