Thank You Tammy, and for all the NaPowriMo team over the years. It has been an honour and privilege to have had the many chances to sign up and see things through. It has always been a welcome challenge to stay the course, and delightful to read the wonders hat other Poets create.
Yet it is heartening that we go forwards with a sense of closure and peace, rather than purely bitterness and regret.
This final quote from the Truman Show seems rather apt: "In case I don't see ya, good afternoon, good evening, and good night"!

Ahavati said:SatinUGal, congratulations on completing your 7th NaPo! The years you spent on the team were some of the best we ever had! Despite life calling you from that area, you remained steadfast and loyal to NaPo regardless of your heavy schedule. The spirituality expressed in your poetry contained a underbelly of mysticism and insight that I always enjoyed, and I will miss reading it.
Wherever life takes you, my Westcoast ally, may it be filled with magic, wonder, and creation!

Tammy, this journey has been one of the best of my life, and it has never failed to bring something out of me that surprised and delighted. I can't believe it's ending, and really hope that it finds a home somewhere else next time around. I can't imagine my life without NaPoWriMo. If such a development needed my involvement, everyone can count me in. Much love!

Dear T,
Thank you very much for hosting this poetry event and supporting one and all from start to finish. All of this still feels so surreal. This site and your guiding presence has been such a constant whatever comes next will never be comparable. Thank you for being one of the first poets to take the time to read my first entry and make a meaningful comment. It meant the world to me.
Congratulations to everyone!
Thank you Tammy for your enthusiasm and dedication in keeping this event exciting and oh so worth while! H xx

Despite struggles, slips, and falls, you got right back up and carried on. As a veteran of DU, you always had such interesting offerings, and I never quite knew what to expect from you. That's always a good thing!
Wherever words lead you, may they be few in cliches and redundancies, and much in love and caring!

Tammy, what a beautiful name. It evokes memories of a wonderful Debbie Reynold's movie I watched frequently as a kid. Thank you so much for your selfless service hosting NaPo for so many years🙏 I feel it is a true labor of love for us and poetry. I hope to discover your new home...please let us know.
This wise mantra touches me deeply "Wherever words lead you, may they be few in cliches and redundancies, and much in love and caring! "
Namaste, dear fruend and master poet,

I want you each to know that your responses have moved me in such a way I find it difficult to express my feelings. Please know that each one is precious to me and I have taken a screenshot so that I will always remember them. I have a box specifically for expressions of appreciation and/or gratitude, and each one of these will go in it. Forever.
Always remember that.
Much Love.
Tammy
P.S. Bob, I was literally named after "Tammy and the Doctor". My father was in 'Nam and told my mother if I was a girl to name me "Bertha Rose" ( true story ). He wanted to call me his Rose. My mother hated Bertha, so her and my aunt ( my father's sister ) named me Tammy instead. My aunt took full responsibility and my dad said he'd never forgive her for that.
I told him I had forgiven her enough for both of us!
OMG just to think. . . .

Thank you so much for this message...
It really means very much to me…
I am truly sorry that we bumped heads…
I very much care for you and respect you…
You are beautiful, elegant and brilliant…
Thank you for your well wishes, regarding
NetherWoodPoetry…
I have been thinking about it and…
I would like to continue NaPo…
I would just like to ask if you would
take some time to consider joining
me on Netherwood and continuing
NaPo…
I think that would be so awesome…
So…
I was on another poetry site, which
went under…
It was strange…
The same sort of thing happened, in
the sense, that I took a few months
off…
Came back and the site was going
under…
Quite honestly, I sensed it was
people were giving up on themselves
or something…
Losing the passion for writing…
Maybe it was just the times…
Maybe it was the shift from internet
1.0 to internet 2.0…
But…
I don’t get that, here…
I see super passionate artists who
will find a way, quite honestly…
It’s super inspiring..!
That shows me…
Poetry is not dead..!
Poetry lives..!
:)))
But yes…
Ahavati…
I love you…
I wish you nothing but
the best…
I hope you will consider
continuing NaPo on NWP…
I assure you I will never again
bump heads with you…
Anyway…
Just think about it…
(I am going to have a NWP
Merch shop…
We could design NaPo shirts..!)

It's been such a pleasure to have you participate and read your submissions throughout the years. You have such an honest, open, and genuine style that relates to so many of my own personal experiences, particularly with your daughter.
I hope Life treats you kindly and the Muse continues to bless your poetry, because even when you felt it didn't, it did.

It's been a truly bittersweet journey through this one. So many days I didn't think I'd make it. But watching everyone in the group keep going & your constant encouragement to us all...one foot & then the other...until the end. I went rogue one year but I still participated. Never would have occurred to me if not for the time & work you & your team put into making this happen every year. All while writing your own amazing entries! I hate that it's the last but I may take the tradition with me, thanks to you! Thank you for all you did to keep it alive every year & keep our asses motivated, Tammy!

Tammy,
I hope you already know how much you mean to me. I'm reserved (even more so than the typical Brit), but I hope I have managed to show with my words and my actions that I will always be your friend, and always have your back. I look up to you and admire your work ethic, tenacity, kindness, and forthrightness. I'm glad to have already connected on FB - I don't have any other social media. NaPo has encouraged me to keep on writing, even though I genuinely think I'm not a proper writer, and that each poem is going to be my last!! I'm sure we'll find a way to keep something going in future, and I'll be there to support you for sure, if we do. xo

Ahavati said:Cabcool, congratulations on completing your 6th NaPo! You have a wonderful and very spiritual way of writing and your sense of visual design is unique. I particularly enjoyed your religious offerings and admire how you always kept love in the forefront. I know you have had a lot on your place the last few years and greatly admire your dedication and commitment to TeamNaPo regardless of circumstance.
You are a true poet, and wherever this world leads you, may it be filled with poetry, music, and love.

Dear Ahavati, My Friend Tammy
Your spirit of generosity and benevolence has always risen on top in the toughest of circumstances. Ubiquitous is the nature of your presence, despite all else you have to do. Of all my DU friends and colleagues, no one has been more present or more influential in my life, than you have been -- indeed, you have been my most compelling mentor and role model, supporter and encourager, teacher and moral inspirer.
Just look at it: you have managed to take time out to greet, thank, and appreciate every single poet participating in NaPo2025. Even as the ship goes down, you stand at the helm, flag flying high, raising the anthem of a positive future for all those who may feel disenfranchised at the death of our dear DU. And you seem to read each of so well! You have just the right words for each character, the appropriate applause for each persona, the logical lyrics for each poet. Your sense of analysis is spot on, your discernment of motive shrewd, and your detection of error, as well as of merit, penetrating and precise.
I wish you godspeed, as you soar into other realms or swim other seas. May the strong wind be always at your back, the brilliant sun always in front of you, and courage always at your side. I do hope we can be together again, by some miraculous contrivance more literal than philosophical, more pivotal than preventive, more effusive than evasive, more delightful than damning.
You have been as much to me, personally, as DU has been to me therapeutically. And both are experiences whose memories I will always cherish.
Namaste, My Friend!

Brother, You are aging well !!!!
i remember the very 1st time i met You, here at DUP.
i was arguing with You about Your Faith.
Still, i want to believe we became Friends.
We even did a collab together!!
While You know i don't adhere to Your belief system anymore,
You didn't not want to keep chatting with me, a person who renounced Christianity.
i will never forget that kindness.
thank You, Brother

Cab and all - your kind words have truly humbled me and it's very difficult not to "lose it" throughout this process of "shutting down". It's a very sobering experience; however, these words you've all shared have truly helped.
Thank you and may the Universe lead you to green fields where inspiration blooms on every bush and tree.

To All: Webmiss has received the winner's list; however, she was so busy she forgot to create a special trophy for this year. However, I did request in my list that if it were not possible to award any but one, then let it be Honoria for her 5-year accomplishment, which she has graciously done.
Congratulations, Honoria, on an well-deserved achievement!
