My NaPo poem (The Keeper) is now posted as a 'new' poem on my personal catalogue but I have referenced it as original to the 2017 NaPo, 24th April.

Thanks, Josh! Much appreciated!

Thank you Uma and Ahavati for thinking of me. Yes its Vee and yes sometime ago I moonlighted as Layla one and the same.
But I just heard about this very unexpected news of Du coming to an end this morning from Daniel texting me.
It makes me very sad because we all share how much Du gave us purpose and unity for many many years.  We all had a great time, supporting each other, crying, celebrating and at the same time bickering and fighting
But it just shows in the end it all helped us to grow.
I certainly am so excited that so many people are coming together to put an anthology together.  I know its time consuming but i also know how rewarding it will be.
Kudos to all that's involved and again thank you for including me.
( I did submit a poem to Daniel and he told me he'll forward it to the committee)

You're very welcome, Layla Vee! Whatever will be, will be! ( That's a great name! )

You COULD stick around and help us. There are plenty of categories open, ya know!

Daniel is a fantastic friend and for him to maybe draw Lalyla back, is an absolute delight. And credit where it is due, thank you Uma for not forgetting those who were the cores of this site.

Rob, Thank you my friend for investing the time to go through the channels to find me.  Daniel is truly an amazing friend with a patience of a saint.
He messages me 10 times a day and I only reply once a month lol.
Thankfully he hasn't disowned me..yet
I still haven't absorbed what's going on.  But i'll definitely be checking often with what's happening and certainly to retrieve my work.

I have to ask...Has anyone heard or contacted Revolutionary Al?
He was my buddy when I wrote as Layla and one of the best inspirations I've ever had especially in the competition Envelopes of Air. He definitely needs to be included in the anthology.

Also, Mister Kexby, my one and only mentor...although knowing how private he is, he'll probably opt out.
Rhianne..as I used to know her early on as Mourganna.  Does anyone know how to get in touch with her?

I believe Rhianne has migrated over to Stars Rite.

Ty Indie. I'm assuming that's a poetry site.
I appreciate the information.

With so many poets I don't know how selections are made for the anthology, but I hope that somewhere in the loop for consideration are:
yelluw_always, cold_fusion, badmalthhus, souladareatease (RIP), angelast1, butters, KDamB, whale -- most of whom I have not seen for years -- so I'm not sure if it would be possible to consider them. If someone is already on the case with any of them, let me know. Josh

Hi, Josh - I am working on the bolded, some from NaPo, others for the spiritual section. Hoping to get a response from emails I'm sending out seeking permission. I have Soul's poem and bio from Grace. I think Northern Soul has cold_fusion's contact info.

It would be really helpful if you could assume a category. I know you're currently traveling, but I do hope you can lend a hand. Case can let you know which are still available.

One other account to consider for Memorial/Obituary is:
https://deepundergroundpoetry.com/poets/malin69/

I'm sure some will remember him, he passed away few years ago and He was quite active back in the day trying to write English Poetry for the love of his life who also had an account here trying his best since he was from France.

I appreciate this. I always wondered what happened to him. Do you have an obituary, Vee? I would need to contact his family for permission to publish a poem.

@Case:

I just had a message from someone regarding the Classic Corner Comps. I had forgotten all about them. Here are a few links for you to review.

These were very high-quality entries and we offered constructive critique. These entries are some of the best DU has to offer because these poets truly strived toward a proper tribute. This was ongoing series introducing serious writers of DUP to the most well-known poets, both classical and modern.

Mary Oliver ( ironically, she passed away during this competition, which took it to an entirely different level ):

Rilke: https://deepundergroundpoetry.com/forum/competitions/read/10367/

Rimbaud: https://deepundergroundpoetry.com/forum/competitions/read/10368/

Elizabeth Bishop ( I actually won a cash prize for one of my Bishop tributes in an offsite competition): https://deepundergroundpoetry.com/forum/competitions/read/10456/

Emily Dikinson: https://deepundergroundpoetry.com/forum/competitions/read/10494/

^ Those aren't even half.

We even had a championship for all participants at the end of the year. Webmiss created a special trophy for the male and female divisional winners.

Possible to add a "Classic Corner" to the anthology?
