Indeed! And I won't have to work until April 22nd, except for a few private music lessons at home.

Hi, can someone recommend a good word counter please, that counts unique words too. Ideally with no ads and cookies. Thanks.

Yep, that looks a good one. Thanks so much Tallen.
I did use one previously, years ago, but for the life of me I cant find the link.

I'm with Daisy on Wordcounter.net because of the many options it allows you to utilize ( such as reading level, etc. ). You can turn on/off those features you don't want by clicking on "more ( highlighted )", this is where the Unique Word option is.

Thanks A. I found it. Yeah those options are really useful. I might stick with this one.
and thanks DaisyGrace again.

I do not use word counter. I do manual counting and sometimes I just do an estimate by writing enough words.😁

This conversation cracks me up! Over the years, I've learned that certain forms usually get me there. My go-tos are a sonnet or a string of three limericks. It's not an exact science, but it usually works out.

I agree. I've done it so long I can typically tell when I've reached the limit; however, in striving for an expanded vocabulary, I love to see how many words are duplicated and how I can improve. This seems to have been perfected over the years of NaPo, and just writing in general. I guess that's why I enjoy that *coughsexforwriterscough* toy so much - it has helped to improve my writing.
