As the election draws nearer, tensions between people will escalate. There is much fear circulating in our country right now, and it's affecting those who are succumbing to its narrative.
We may feel disillusioned, betrayed by family and/or close friends. We may not understand another's point of view, or how they can think or act as they do. But if we view it from a higher perspective, we'll be able to see above the ruse from the heart of compassion and understanding.
We have all, at some point in our lives, experience a paralyzing fear that grips our logic and senses. Especially in regard to fears of betrayal or abandonment by those we dearly love and trust. If we can believe that we are where we are meant to be at this time in history, and that all we can choose is what WE can individually do and how we individually act, we'll find comfort in the knowledge that we've done our best.
Any attempt to control others or dictate how they feel, or act will be met with resistance at this time. We need to choose which is more important to us? Their actions or our honor. Dignity and grace maintain our footing in the realm of belief.
