Poetry Contest Description
Nature poems, 1O lines or less, one entry per, using the word,
Not in the competition.
nature's savoir-faire, everywhere
where the winds blow leaves
and rainbows with turtle doves
answering a prayer contemporary
in being savoir-faire
nature's savoir-faire, everywhere
where the winds blow leaves
and rainbows with turtle doves
answering a prayer contemporary
in being savoir-faire

"Boreal Groves"
In fae’s embrace, where northern forests rest,
Nature’s hand doth weave a spell so blessed
Moss-clad trees with silvered leaves do sway,
Beneath the moon’s soft, ethereal ray
A crystal stream through shadowed glades gleam
Where faerie lights dance in a gentle dream
Ancient oaks with whispered secrets stand,
Their roots entwined in magic’s gentle band
In this serene and mystical retreat,
Nature’s realm and faerie magic meet
In fae’s embrace, where northern forests rest,
Nature’s hand doth weave a spell so blessed
Moss-clad trees with silvered leaves do sway,
Beneath the moon’s soft, ethereal ray
A crystal stream through shadowed glades gleam
Where faerie lights dance in a gentle dream
Ancient oaks with whispered secrets stand,
Their roots entwined in magic’s gentle band
In this serene and mystical retreat,
Nature’s realm and faerie magic meet

Emerald flair
“Let them dance!” avowed the oak
Leaves— stately and wry mingling in the zeppelin
Windblown ridges kissing the necks of their allies
A coterie of revelry
Interlaced in lieu of chaste
A savoir faire of emerald flair
A rustling melodic consonance

A coterie of revelry
Interlaced in lieu of chaste
A savoir faire of emerald flair
A rustling melodic consonance

Savoir vivre
‘Nature’s natural’, he stated most naturally,
as if his own lazy savoir-faire
could penetrate through the aperture
of a creature not from anywhere near where nature’s natural resembled anything like this.
Incomprehensible, these lush vines and leaves and sensations of wind and rancid, of darkness and light and colors dancing.

Savoir-faire And Her Black Hair
Mother Nature has the savoir-faire of royalty
None exceed the grace and charisma of she
For she has longevity since the days of Genesis
Her gift of gab made Eve grab what she couldn't resist
She'll insist that the clouds satiate the thirst of vegetation
As well as convince the oceans of flooding many nations
GOD'S greatest creation since the rising of the Sun
The whistle of her wind can make eyes and noses run
She's the one that makes man conform with her savoir-faire
Can create or destroy with just the flip of her black hair
None exceed the grace and charisma of she
For she has longevity since the days of Genesis
Her gift of gab made Eve grab what she couldn't resist
She'll insist that the clouds satiate the thirst of vegetation
As well as convince the oceans of flooding many nations
GOD'S greatest creation since the rising of the Sun
The whistle of her wind can make eyes and noses run
She's the one that makes man conform with her savoir-faire
Can create or destroy with just the flip of her black hair
