Lightning McQueen
My lord and savior
For whom I savor
Goes by a different name
He doesn't love thy neighbor
His name is Lightning McQueen
In his name we sing
Praises of old and new
And of his blood they drew
My savior gives us chicken wings
And saves our soul from Chick Hicks
He loves us
He feeds us

The Final Flight to Freedom
Silent through the years
Like a giving tree
You kept cutting branches
Shredding me by decree
Quiet as harmless rock
Sitting by your side
You kept smashing your hammer
Cracking my core inside
Heart blossomed like a flower
So many times sitting beside
Hoping you would hold me tender
But got plucked and discarded aside
Finally, I became a bird
In this heartless nest
You tried to severe my wings
But I soared and flew away, for the best.
I forgive you for all
That you have done
My soul is free of you
Finally my freedom has come
Open blue sky with sweet release
The light has touched me I am finally at peace .....

Forgiveness
Forgiveness is...
The awareness of oneness
Of that lack of perception of separation
It's the knowing of the human ego weakness,
liberation from the story that enslaves you
Letting go and accepting what is.
Forgiveness is empathy
It's the healing of your traumas
It has its reasons of existence
As the other pole of revenge
which is resentment
which is resistance
You cannot impose forgiveness
It's a consequence of self love
In this world of mad existence
Nothing stands as unforgiven
The awareness of oneness

Free Yourself
Forgiveness…forgiveness is about letting go
Letting go of the anger and resentment toward someone else
It’s about freeing yourself of the past that cast a heavy burden
And finally being able to breathe by coming up to the surface
Forgiveness is about getting rid of those emotional chains
Those that once bound you, those that wouldn’t let you move ahead
Is about being able to see the truth that beyond all façades
We’re flawed and thus we must find absolution and make amends
Forgiveness is about releasing the thorns embedded within
When memories bring nothing but misery and grief
It’s a veil that changes our perception because forgiveness…
Is about letting go of the pain and finally finding peace

The last day's in May
He swapped the car in Phoenix
with a screwdriver and a twist of spark,
used a wad of money
like a maxi-pad over a deep red bullet wound
that oozed pink saline every time he moved.
She was probably with someone else.
He had no right to be heading her way,
asking for her charity after what he'd done.
The cool desert air made him feel drowsy
as the Buick's soft ride drifted from the road.
He could smell the creosote after rain,
a scent of home, a forgotten hiding place.
He picked all his words through the open window
and prepared to eat them like poison apples,
knowing he’d lost too much blood to explain.
The dust cloud settled outside her trailer,
the long stretching sound of the car horn
nudges her from a troubled sleep.
Maybe she'll be a forgiving nurse
with alcohol and tweezers,
give him clean sheets and chicken soup.
Maybe she'll tell him to get lost
and regret watching the tail lights
the moment they shrink out of sight.
Maybe she will get in the car to hold his hand,
stay there to watch the night give way
under the pressure of a fresh morning
and say "goodbye"
as she lifts the bag from the back seat.
