11.00 a.m, New Year's Day 2024, central Portugal. View from the house eastwards, towards the village and the Serra da Estrela (Mountains of the Stars) about an hour's drive away in the distance. The Estrelas are Portugal's only 'ski resort', but so far no snow this year.

It has incredible views - not sure I'd be able to capture them on an old camera - but request noted. We actually live on a plain surrounded in the distance by mountains near enough all around. All the best for 2024, J&V.
