Oh Lord. This was a supply-chain backup due to lack of packing tape. PACKING TAPE that every store seemed to be out of, so I had to order. Which was delayed. And delayed and finally arrived. I started on it last night, but I honestly think I'm making it worse. I ordered SIX ROLLS of those suckers. I'm ready for 2024!
I'm also ready for Christmas once I get this mess cleaned up and organized. I hope everyone's holiday season is Merry and Bright!
Just received a nice Christmas gift from a very generous soul here at the DUP (a generous soul with a very dark sense of humor, much like myself). Giallo is a genre I'm not overly knowledgeable about, and this will serve as an excellent starting point for research.
As a respecter of privacy, I won't dox the member...I just wanted to let the person to know that I received the book this weekend and am completely delighted by this selection. In the past, I would normally have posted something like this on FB, but my career in waste management carries the constant possibility of FOIA request for anything I post on the internet. So I try keep things where they don't think or care to look. I've been witness to the consequences of FB announcements by friends & colleagues since I've started working there and it's enough to make me take some precautions. It's part of the reason I post things here.
Sorry for my primitive flip phone photography, but I don't use smart phones for any reason. All my intermittent hillbilly internettin' is done from desktop.
