Reverie Rhymes

I have a dream
It’s more or less the same
As when I was a child
But had hardened in resolve after being bathed in endless pain.

It started on a whim
Just a spark in a blazing fire
I knew I wanted to help people
Yet I couldn’t quite pinpoint how to accomplish this desire.

Perhaps deep within our souls
There’s a hint of magic
Just waiting to be unleashed
And manage to stand out among the colourless pelagic.

The world will be my offering
There’s no limit to what I can do
In turn, the world has plenty to offer me
To contribute to my dream as it grew.

Divinity has gifted me plenty
I’m not blind to the blessings I’ve received
I just need to nourish my dream some more
In order to have my goals achieved.

I’ll leave something to remember me by
A wholesome pure legacy
Because I have a dream
And I intend to make it a reality.
