Jeus has not only spoken, he's also been damn busy building another universe, completed just in time for NaPo 2023 ...

This is a beautiful tribute. Fiftysevenhours pens thought provoking and elegant poetry, with a soft feel to it.

Welcome again, to Team NaPo!

Thank you, PR. I felt the image went perfectly with the poem. Eerie described it beautifully! Well done, 57!

O, but there are others to come, whose goings and comings everyone is trying to deCIPHER! Let's dress back, as with zipped lips, we admit 1 who believes in the power and energy of poetic thought.

Mystical, musical, methodical: yes; mythical: I hardly think so! This hombre is real as a dream...that flows from sleep into hard action on the ground.

Hip, hip? Hooray! (x3) Have you deciphered? His name is Cipher_O. This Pablonian power is the brain behind the exciting NaPo23 script. Now unzip your lips and crucify the stillness, for applause is barely adequate for an entrance such as this - o so timely!

i think i stopped wearing / owning a watch after 9/11 in the US, about the same time i had an awakening experience.

i suppose it depends on ones' belief
and for me,
time is a human construct that enables us to structure our lives.
Not a bad thing, just a thing.

Your last line reminded me of an old poem of mine
A Mind Off-Grid, Nr.01 - The Cycle Of The Thing

For a while I thought it was a bad thing
but giving it some time to breathe and tell its story

I subsequently saw it was a good thing
and then further allowing it to play out long and free

I eventually experienced it as just a thing.

Indulging it with yet more time
I observed the thing in other people
and finally far away on the distant horizon --

as I sub-consciously waved it a mental ‘bye-bye’
the next bad thing was slowly creeping up on me.

Regarding wearing a watch, I always do and feel odd if I don't. I have two watches, one for work which gets bashed about and scratched, and one 'good' one; it tells the date too -- bifunctional

You will certainly need it, Cipher; moreover, you will have to navigate different timezones. Anyway, no big deal for you.
